Review: This is the best gay love story I have seen yet! The entire story pulls you into the lives of Alan and Tommy. It's comical, intense and tearful. A great movie! Congrats to Miles Swain, the Writer and Director. Buy the movie, you'll love it, over and over again.

Summary: Hits Right Home
Review: The story had the development of two peoples lives who were from two different worlds(or so it appeared) who found love when they least expected it. It was really great as it demonstrated the growth and development of a relationship and all the benefits that can be derived.
It was mixed with disapponintment and deceit that rocks the whole world right now. It also shows how two men really in love will go a very far way to accomodate each other for the cause of a sustainable relationship.
Never really liked how the end went as it is my belief that the stereo typing of a gay man dying with AIDS is too cliche. We hardly have happy endings!!!!!!!

Summary: More than just a Movie!
Review: I understand the cliche element of the end of this movie. It's not a great movie like the Aviator but it does the job well enough. What is so special about this movie is that my ex bf called me after seeing it for the first time in four years. Our breakup was bad and based on total misunderstandings. But we still loved each other the whole time. Now we are getting married. Thank you Miles Swain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Starts off original...ending in a huge gay cliche!
Review: I had heard only a few things about this movie, but they all seemed positive. This was the "great indie gay love story." So I thought what the hell? Warning: watch a film before purchasing it.

The movie had great potential. Casting virtual unknowns for the title characters worked out well. The chemistry between the two main men was great, and I could understand how these two could fall in love.

"The trip" follows the growing love story of two complete oppostites who just happen to be meant for each other. The villian in this movie was very easy to spot, and I didn't like how he was integrated into this story.

The dinner party was probably my favorite scene. What I HATED was the last portion of this movie. Why is it almost every gay film has to follow either a cliched happy ending, or let's one of it's characters meet a "typical" ending. Even for the subject-matter, I feel that the actors weren't true enough to this. Oh My God, and the final goodbye in the squad-car was just HORRIBLE. That was probably one of the worst scenes, and dialogue I've ever heard in romantic film.

Sorry guys, this movie had potential...and actually had me for a while. Whoever wrote this script really didn't try very hard with the other half of this film. It just Blew.

Summary: Beautiful and Breathtaking
Review: I am a straight woman with a gay brother who recently had a religious union with his wonderful partner. Some of the family was not thrilled at first but all that changed when they saw the love these two people share. This movie reminded me of their story (except for the ending). They had known each other for a long time and now they are finally together after dealing with all the social and family bs. Do yourself a favor if you are straight. Rent this movie and see how not that differently the other side lives and loves.

Review: I thought that this movie started off kind of slow but then when it started picking up and going through the years, then it got really interesting and to me I thought that this movie was excellent. It is a good love story of how opposites attract in this movie plus it has that "villain" that has the hots for one of the main guys and he is unhappy cause his object of affection is interested in someone else so he does what he has to do to get his crush to fall into his hands by breaking the two up with the publishing of Alan's book. Other than that this movie is excellent for anyone who has fallen in and out of love only to rekindle it several years later due to an unforseen sickness or accident.

Review: I enjoyed this movie. It had many funny parts. I also liked the way it tracked the lives of the two men over a period of several years. The ending was sad, and typical for a gay movie. That was my only disappointment. However, I am glad that I bought it and I'll be watching it again in the near future.

Review: If you are looking for drama that will touch you to bottom of your hurt - thats the one. You just will love the charactors and will live with them every scene of this show. Worth every penny even something is missing here.

Review: I have never seen a movie gay or straight that made me feel the way I do right now. Those two people were so right for each other. It was breathtaking when they were together and so painful when they were not. Why can't life be like the movies? Why don't we call find love true love like that? Why are we such boobs when it comes to loving?

Summary: The Best film i have ever seen!
Review: Words can't describe how much i'm in love with this movie. I watched it back in the December of 2004 when my English teacher was showing to the class. Some of the classmates hesistated for a while but when we started watching it, it was hilarious and we were laughing our ass out. When the movie was finished, we were so glad that our teacher showed us the movie. She said that was her favorite movie of all time, and now it's MY favorite movie of all time. After watching it in class, i ordered it online and now i have my own copy, i don't regret a bit, i think this movie is excellent! I love Larry Sullivan! He's such a great actor! Steve is too! Please, do not hesitate to watch this great film, even my straight friends LOVED it! It is, no doubt in my mind, a CLASSIC film of this century. Basically, everyone should buy a copy! Thanks for listening, hope my enthusiasm helped.
