Review: "Beautiful Thing" is just that a beautiful thing. Never before has there been a movie that captures the essence of living on the outside looking in or the akwardness of love and life. This movie creates such an emotional stir that every gay teen needs to see it to feel the moment. This movie depicted the moment of self-discovery and acceptance as a "beautiful thing" and I give a my regards to the director for her vision.

Review: Growing up as a gay teen in small-town Alabama, I WISH I would have had a movie such as Beautiful Thing to watch. It makes one realize that you cannot control who you fall in love with, no matter what your sex and that nothing is worth killing yourself over, no matter what others think.

Review: Beautiful Thing is a beautiful film. It is simply delightful and never distasteful. The cast is marvelous. Hettie MacDonald's use of the underrated music of Cass Elliott is the icing on the cake. The only possible criticism I have is at the very end with the court yard scene. It doesn't seem to hold with the rest of the film for credibility. But, B.T. is an delight from start to finish.
