Summary: Great DVD!
Review: I loved this video. Minna was encouraging and clear with the cues without being annoying and too "ex-cheerleader" like. The workout was a bit rough the first time trying to get the moves down, since I'm rather uncoordinated but it definately made me sweat and got my heart going.

Summary: Wonderful workout!
Review: I was looking for something to get me excited about working out. (I fell into a slump of no working out after abdominal surgery). This was just what I needed. I find myself doing the tape sometimes twice a day b/c the cardio is almost like mini dance routines. Very Fun!

Minna is fun to watch and easy to understand. I don't feel like I am trying to "keep up" with her. If I do miss a step the workout is easy enough to jump right back in. I really like the toning part of the tape b/c I have never been into lifting weights, but I noticed results(especially upper body strength) after about 2 weeks of doing this tape, that was motivation enough for me.

All the combinations flow really well with the music and help to keep me in step. It took about 2 weeks to get the tape down to where I was always in step, but it was fun learning. I will definatly buy another one of Minna's tapes.

Summary: Emergency Workout is Great
Review: I have the Emergency workout and I love it. Minna is a great instructor who is upbeat, positive, down-to-earth, and keeps you motivated, but not in your face. The cardio portion is fun and will really make you sweat. At first, (along with any other dance related workout video), the steps were a little intimidating. However, with some practice and replaying the steps they soon become second nature. Don't expect to be able to do the steps the first time, you have to get up and practice. The cardio portion goes fast because it is fun. It's really a great stress reliever also. The toning is also very good. It may take a few times to master the double toning techniques (squats with bicep curls, lunges with arm raises) but it is worth it. You burn more calories because you're using more muscles! Overall this is a great workout. I've seen someone else's review and they had negative feedback. Do not base your decision on that. It really is a fun workout!!!!

Summary: DANCEY - mambo, chacha
Review: I have Minna's Optimizer Blend, and I love it! So I bought this one thinking it would be as good. Its AWFUL! You need to know how to do the Mambo and Chacha, there's poor camera coverage, and no instruction on how to do these dances... I HATED IT! It went about 90mph too so I couldn't pick up the moves AT ALL! Try Minna's Blend, but FORGET THIS ONE!

Summary: Minna-Emerggency Workout
Review: I think that this a tape that focuses on the two most essential elements of physical fitness: cardio and strength training. Minna really does a great job of making sure that you are incorporating both of these elements into a well-ballanced fitness program.

Summary: Discipline and Consistency says it all!
Review: This workout is very good as well as it is used consistently. If you use this workout as it is written in the 6 week schedule, along with a good diet will give good results. Most reviews I have read on this video seem like they are either lacking consistency on using the workout or are cheating on their diet. I guess it really depends on what your goals are. If you are looking to just be fit then this is a great video with excellent instruction. However, if you are looking to be very ripped and lean, then this video needs to be combined with an extra workout and a strict balanced diet using supplements such as Xenedrine and other protein powders and supplements. If this is your goal then you should plan on eating at least six small meals a day along with plenty of water to flush out all the toxins that build up in the body. Well it begins to get technical and I am trailing away from the actual review of the video. I really think that this is one of the best videos for beginners, intermediate, and advanced. The video promises that in six weeks you can become fit and toned assuming that you follow the workout and eat balanced meals. Consistency is the key and as long as you are consistent you will see the results that it promises. I personally find the instruction very easy to follow, and fun. I do recommend it for people that want to lose the extra pounds, like it says, for weddings, vacations, etc. I personally think that most people buy a workout video and expect miracles to happen and obviously that is not the case. Consistency and discipline are key so keep that in mind, not to mention that diet is 80% key. If you workout 3 hours a day and cheat on your diet, you will never be satisfied with your results. Anyway, about this video...I highly recommend it to anyone with any fitness goals. Good luck to all of you trying it out and have a good time with it!

Summary: Fun and energizing
Review: I really love this video. It provides a great cardio workout and excellent toning exercises. Minna combines exercises, so you get the ultimate workout. I am out of shape, but I do my best to keep up with the moves, and walk in place when it goes beyond my limits.

Summary: not what I expected
Review: I generally like Minna's videos, and I looked forward to this. The dance moves are very very complicated, even for me, and I am advanced! The SALSA and the CHA CHA's are thrown in to an already too complicated video. I never even got to the second 30 minutes because I was so disappointed with the first half. Luckily, I bought it at another store and I can return it b/c I don't like it. You can't do that with online shopping.

Summary: This is a keeper
Review: I recently purchased this video, because I have her Strength & Grace and Fat Eliminator. I did it for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed it. It's not very difficult, but is perfect for the days I want some cardio and light toning (not a 'killer' workout). I usually use heavier weights, and probably will the next time, but I did feel that I got in a satisfactory workout. The ab section was very weak, I would have liked something longer and more intense, but all-in-all, I found it a fun video and the time flew by. Minna is a very good instructor, easy to follow and not at all what I had expected (cheerleader type).

Summary: Minna uses dancing
Review: I bought this dvd as an alternative to my yoga one. Minna always incorporates dance into the workout, which if you like to dance you'll like this, but I don't. Since I don't like dancing I feel really dumb doing her routine because every step is a dance with names like the cha cha cha and the mambo shake. I guess the dancing is good for cardio-exercise. I lost all my energy laughing at my sister and myself.
