Summary: Just great!!
Review: I started using this video in my 5th month and used it till the day before my delivery. I was more energetic and relaxed due to the exercises. I didn't have any aches and pains like the other moms-to-be. I skipped the chantings, but would deep-breathe instead. Now, five months after my son is born, I still recommend this video to all my friends and family.

Summary: Great video
Review: I really love this video. Although I was at first put-off by the new-agey aspects, I soon found myself happily chanting and dancing along. It is different from yoga classes that I have taken, in that you are constantly moving in a more loose and sweeping way. I really feel stretched and energized by the end of the video. This is the best of the prenatal yoga videos I have tried. I would definitely recommend this to a friend (who has an open mind).

Summary: Great for beginners and out of shapers
Review: I tried this last night. Suddenly my terrible backache was gone, my headache is fading fast, and I feel looser and more relaxed. I am usually one to laugh at any "new age" type of stuff, but I couldn't get more into this if I tried. I had a very difficult and long first labor and have been dreading this second one, but I already feel more in control of that fear than 24 hours ago. This is great for someone overweight and high-risk (that's me!), you get a little easy exercise and loosen up those muscles.

Summary: Good moves at a great price
Review: I read an article about the instructor that lead me to search out this yoga video. I then read reviews by other Amazon customers and found them mixed. I purchased the video and have been using it over the last five months. As a large women (before pregnancy), I found the routine easy to follow and challenging in an energizing way. Someone without any yoga experience (I had some) can join right in and reap the benefits. You don't need any special clothing or equipment, although an exercise mat is helpful.

Regarding the chanting, I didn't participate in it but I didn't find it distracting. I either used the time to set up my exercise area, sit quietly thinking about the day ahead until the actual exercise started, or if my time was limited I would forward the tape to the exercise portion. I wouldn't let reviews of the chanting or the instructor's dress discourage you from buying and using this video. It does what it's advertised to do -- work you and your pregnant self out! If the type of spirituality that the instructor practices is not your bag, you can still gain flexibility and a cardio workout from this tape, leaving you to workout your spiritual matters wherever else you'd prefer. I'm still using the tape to coax my first child, who is now nearly eight days post-date (past due, if you have a negative slant), from my body. I received the post-natal version for Christmas, and should my child decide to make an appearance before s/he is 12 y.o., I plan to keep practicing yoga using this series of videos from The Method! Regards.

Summary: Great Preparation for Delivery!!
Review: This is a great workout to prepare a pregnant mom for delivery and to relieve some of the aches and pains of pregnancy. I am *really* enjoying doing it every day, and I could tell a difference in my flexibility within a few days. I also feel GREAT after I do this workout - it helps relieve some of the exhaustion I get with my pregnancies, as well as the backache. I really wish I'd had this video with my first pregnancy - I used another prenatal yoga video which was pretty good, but this one is much better. [I am also a Lamaze Instructor and I would whole-heartedly recommend this to my students to get the ready for labor and delivery].

One warning though - the Instructor is very "new-agey". This could be annoying, depending on the kind of person you are. I pretty much fast forward through the parts that aren't working for me though, and the workout itself is awesome! The Instructor does say some things that I found very motivating [such as "women were giving birth thousands of years before anyone wrote a book on giving birth"]. I highly recommend this video - just be prepared to skip the parts you don't like!

Summary: Great and easy workout, very relaxing and calming as well!
Review: I loved this video, yes the whole spiel at the beginning was a little long, but other than that, and a few of the weird chants :) it was great. I was getting such a good workout, but didn't feel like it was that hard while I was doing it! It was so calming and relaxing as well, I slept so good everytime I did this video. I recommend it for anyone in any pregnancy stage.

Summary: This video helped me greatly.
Review: I laughed at how "L.A." this video is, but the more spiritual aspects of it didn't bother me at all. In fact, I found that the chanting, visualization, dancing and meditation parts were ultimately as useful (if not more so) than the physical stuff. This video manages to be both relaxing and physically challenging at the same time. I was in labor for 18 hours and -- partly because of the mental and physical confidence I gained from this video -- I gave birth without any drugs or medical intervention.

Summary: Very silly, but not bad for pregnant women
Review: This tape is extremely silly, but when you're pregnant it offers a decent yoga routine. The lady who leads the routine is a bit "off", but the routine itself is decent. Recommended ONLY if you are pregnant and desperate to continue your yoga practice.

Summary: open your Body Spirit & Mind to a uplifting fun experience
Review: I was disappointed that so many woman let a turban have such a negative effect on their judgement.I respect her for being true to her own heart and keeping with the true traditions of Kundalini Yoga. Being such a great teacher and sharing with others this beatuiful way of staying in touch with your pregnant bodies is a blessing and gift. We should all be grateful to have such a video to watch in our homes. This tape is uplifting and lots of fun and it shows how we are all spiritual beings in human bodies. This video teaches a wonderful prenatal yoga class that serves a higher purpose for hundreds of satisfied customers. Open up your hearts and minds. A birth doula,Linda from LA.

Summary: Not much stretching
Review: I have done some yoga and was expecting more stretching and holding poses than I felt that this video had to offer. I did enjoy the live music but the endurance portion was pointless as I've already had one baby and can't imagine slapping your hands together above your head and below your waist for 3 minutes daily would have helped me at all during labor. If you're serious about stretching , don't bother with this one.
