Summary: VERY RELAXING-MOTIVATIONAL
Review: Great workout and excercise, increases spirit. It moves a little fast and might not be suitable for beginners, but overall excellent.

Summary: Too Difficult
Review: This video was the most painful yoga workout I have ever done. I wanted something to help me relax and this workout just made me more tense. I had to go to a massage therapist to get out the kinks in my neck and my legs! I wouldn't recommend this tape to anyone.

Summary: Exhausting! Not for the beginner!
Review: This is not for the faint of the heart. I run 5km 3-times a week and I do AM-PM yoga. But this video is 60 minutes of sheer hard work. This is not a teaching video. The camera moves too fast to different persons and the camera angle keeps changing. This is more like an aeorobic workout. I suppose when one reaches the flexibiity and strength of the actors in the video, one cold enjoy it.

Summary: Positively the best Yoga Video
Review: I had only tried Yoga one time (one hour) before trying this tape. At the beginning some poses were hard but I did not push myself and within a week they were much easier and I felt SO peaceful and open. I also read the teachings from Master Teacher Erich Schiffmann who instructs on this video. The teaching took the best workout video I have and made it 5 times more powerful. The filming, music, location and instructions are first class all the way.

Summary: Best workout I have ever done; I look forward to doing it.
Review: I love this video - have had it for years, have just gotten back to it. I bought the cd by Dead Can Dance just to evoke the feeling I get from doing yoga with Erich. I am a beginner basically, but find that I improve amazingly quickly after a short time using this video. My heart rate increases significantly during many poses, I feel as though I'm getting a total workout. One of the things I'd take with me on a desert island (assuming someone is bringing the vcr...) Recommended highly. In fact, I'd like to know if Ali and Erich are planning on another - I'd get it in an instant.

Summary: A great video to get you hooked on yoga!
Review: This is an excellent yoga video! I am a beginner at yoga and this video has been easy to follow. Most workout videos seem to be confusing on which direction you should be facing or which leg or arm your using, but this one is very clear. It also has no chit chat that you get tired of listening to each time. It is simply instructional and precise with great music and scenery. A video you don't get tired of! My mind and body feel energized after each session. It is the best exercise video I own!

Summary: A great workout for those with previous Yoga experience
Review: The Ali McGraw workout is a perfect workout if you already know the Yoga basics. After only 8 previous Yoga classes, I am able to follow along with the tape with no problem. It's a tough workout for a beginner but sets high goals for later being able to do the poses like the people in the tape are doing them. A definate MUST-BUY for those who are already familar with the basics.

Summary: Visually BEAUTIFUL and appropriate for all levels
Review: As a neophyte in yoga, and a slug when it comes to exercise, I was amazed at how much I enjoyed this video. It is so visually beautiful, and musically relaxing, I didn't mind the fact that I couldn't do some of the positions very well. It doesn't matter. You are quietly seduced into the spirit of yoga with these gentle teachers. Highly recommended!

Summary: The best in the market. Beautiful to watch. Inspiring
Review: I've been taking yoga for 7 years with many different teachers and I have approximately 8 yoga tapes to do at home when I can't make to a studio. I find myself refering to Ali and Eric's video the most because it is easy enough to do by myself plus it truly transports you to the white sands on which it is filmed. Ali MacGraw does not claim to be a master teacher. She's a student of yoga like those of us who enjoy it but are not masters. This video is easy to follow if you're beginning and it is demanding enough for those of us who've been doing it for a while. I highly recommend it. My favorite element is that they don't do "showy" poses that very few humans can achieve. They stick to simple and meaningful poses for all ages and levels of ability.
