Summary: Great toning workouts! Fun & Easy!
Review: I love this dvd! I've tried many other workout videos, and this one is my favorite. It gives you a better workout in just 10 minutes & is fun to do. It contains 9 different toning workout segments, each are 10 minutes for different body parts (abs, arms, legs, buns). You get to pick which segments you want to do to customize your workout, whether you want to do 10 minutes, 20 or 30. In just 10 minutes you get a great workout & can really feel it.

It's fun because you can always do a different combination so it doesn't get boring. And each of the 9 segments are not your typical exercises. For example, if you're tired of doing ordinary crunches, the ab segments have so many different crunch variations as well as other great ab exercises.

The exercises are easy to do. The instructors explain the routines, keep you motivated & are fun to workout with.

The exercises are designed to give you maximum results in minimum time. It's great for people who don't have a lot of time for exercise - who can't spare 10 minutes?

Summary: Awesome workout!
Review: I've already reviewed this workout DVD once (about a year ago), and I just feel the need to chime in with another glowing review of it. Through the winter months, it has been so difficult to get out and exercise outdoors, and I have a 16 month old, so it isn't an option if you have a little one to take along with you for a jog or a stroll. The Quick Fix Total Mix is the answer to your prayers if you're wanting to stay active and toned without leaving your living room. I've worked up to doing 5 30-minute workouts a week, and I feel a major difference. The more you do the workouts, the easier they become, and once you're used to the routines, the workouts will be over before you even realize it because they go so quickly and smoothly. This is a great DVD, too, because you can custom-make your own workout to fit your particular needs, time-wise and body-wise, and it allows you to mix the workouts up so you don't get tired of doing the same thing over and over again. I was afraid that I'd get burned out or bored by these workouts, but I haven't, and I've been doing them consistently for months! When we had a break in our cold weather and I could make it outdoors for a jog, I noticed that I'm in way better shape than before the holidays thanks to these great workouts. Highly recommended for anyone who is serious about staying healthy and fit with a limited schedule. Get this one, folks. It's truly fantastic!

Summary: So simple even Dads can use it
Review: I see lots of reviews here from busy moms; but guys, let me tell you that this DVD works and doesn't require that you can keep in step with some complicated aerobics dance moves. Which is just as well because most guys dance like a kangaroo with a twisted ankle.

I do the ABS one pretty much all the time, since that's the bit of me where the beer likes to live. The ten-minute workout format on this DVD makes it easy to slip in a workout during short breaks. For example, dads often get to be first up in the morning and last to bed, and with the ten minute format it's easy to do a quick workout before you get started on the day, or last thing at night. I've found that I can get the kids started on breakfast then go off for ten minutes, get my abs ripped and be back in time to referee the first sibling fight of the morning. Woo-hoo!

The ladies aren't too in your face with their enthusiasm, and --ditching PC good taste for a second-- the producers selected three different instructors according to whether your, er, 'type' is perky brunette, tanned blonde or Laura Bush understudy.

Summary: Great workout no matter how you stack it
Review: This DVD allows you to select from nine different workouts, each lasting 10 minutes. There are three abs, three buns and three arms/legs that you can mix and match to meet your workout style. You can choose one or all of them and arrange them in the order you want. In the lower right hand corner of the screen, you get a 10 minute countdown so you always know how much time you have left in each segment. This is motivating when you're about to give up but you see that you only have three minutes left! The ladies guiding you through it are easy to listen to, unlike some other videos I've watched, and they know their stuff. This is 90% floor exercise - not really what I would consider an aerobic workout. I am not coordinated at all and I am able to do this without falling down! I great buy!

Summary: Fast & Effective! A Great Buy! Love it!
Review: I really like this DVD! I love the fact that you can design your own workout and choose which body part you want to work and for how long! This is great when you are short on time, and even if you are not, you can design 3-10 minute workouts and even more after that if you want to workout longer. I REALLY like the ab work-it is NOT just typical crunches-they combine crunches with pilates and some unique moves. I have been doing Tamilee Webb's I Want Those Abs twice/week, and after doing this ab workout, I was sore in different areas of my abs! I also love the butt workout-was NOT hard on my knees like so many others are with too many lunges/squats! In my opinion, the arm workout was lacking, but I work my arms 3 times weekly with weights (Tamilee Webb's I Want Those Arms is beter-especially for triceps!). Overall, I highly recommend this DVD! If you enjoyed this DVD, I also recommend Tamilee Webb's I Want That Body DVD-similiar, but more challenging!

Summary: Chellenging and efficient
Review: The individual segments do well to work so many muscles in just 10 minutes. They do this by combining several muscle groups in to one movement, like bicep curls combined with lunges. But also by alternating movements to double the effectiveness, like squat/abduction/squat/abduction. It is very challenging, and in my opinion it is something to work up to, perhaps not for begninners. My only gripe is that the mix option allows a max of 3 sections in a row, where as I would prefer to work up to doing 4 or 5. So to do this, I will set 3, then go back and choose another 2 to finish.

Summary: Definitely different
Review: I've been in the home-workout mode for a few months now, so I'm in decent shape, but I'm also constantly looking for ways to liven up my routine. This DVD really is a great idea. The workouts are effective and varied, and definitely different than what's offered in other tapes and DVDs. The ab section includes much more than crunches, including bridge moves and side lifts that actually feel like they're working. I love being able to mix and match.
There are a couple of drawbacks: I don't know if anyone else has had trouble, but I can't get my DVD to program a three-segment workout for me. I have to go in and start each segment individually. But, considering I don't have to fastforward through a tape, that's a small concern.
I agree with other reviewers that a couple of more workouts, such as a cardio workout, would be nice, but the truth is, I rotate between several tapes anyhow, so that's not a problem for me. I've got a great mix going with this DVD, Karen Voigt's pilates workout, the Firm, Minna's Optimizer, and I take a yoga class once a week. This tape really gives me what I was missing.
Also, this is a high-quality tape, unlike Tamilee's Buns, Legs and Abs of Steel tapes, which drive me nuts in their poor sound and image quality. And the instructors here are much easier to take than the weirdos in the Firm.

Summary: Gets to the point
Review: Pluses: Tough enough to challenge a solid intermediate; all the segments are different; Minna Lessig; the DVD provides the ability to set up any combination of up to 3 out of the 9 10-minute segments; generally useful editorial tips during the exercises from the 3 leads.
Minuses: 3 buns segments and only 1.5 for each of arms and legs (2/2/2 would have been preferable); occasional prattle between the 3 leads.

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: I got this less than a week ago and tried all the programs straight through, as well as using the "blender" feature. Wish there was one of these for aerobics! I loved Nancy Popp in the Steel 2000 series and she's just as good here. Some of the segments are easier than others so there's a perfect workout for every day here!
