Summary: Very well done
Review: This is the 2nd yoga pregnancy tape I tried and I was very pleased with this one. I've done some yoga and really just wanted guidance (and incentive) to do some regular stretching. The video features 3 different women, one in each trimester. Each woman demonstrates the same stretch safely for each trimester. It was a great help for a sore back. I've loaned it to 2 other women and have had positive feedback.

Summary: Great option for those new to Yoga
Review: I had never done Yoga before using this tape 10 weeks into my second pregnancy. I had researched the benefits of pre-natal yoga and was hoping that this tape would provide a good start. I was not disappointed. I found the tape easy to understand and enjoyable through each trimester. As a woman who grew up working out through group sports, I was hesitant to try something "new agey" like Yoga. This tape was very down-to-earth and I plan on doing it throughout successive pregnancies. I have been void of back pain and had a smooth pregnancy with a good level of energy. I attribute this, in part, to Shiva Rea's video.

Summary: Used it throughout pregnancy
Review: I used this yoga video throughout the pregnacy and it definately made me feel better after I went through the exercise. I could get motivated to do it because I knew I would feel better-less back pain, an overall feeling of well being, a smile on my face, and relaxation at the end. It goes through the sequence with a soothing instructor and a lady for each trimester of the pregnancy to follow. I caught on quickly to the movements and I was not a yoga master to begin with. Anybody can use this video at every stage. It was so easy--when my belly grew so I couldn't stretch one way, I just followed the next trimester person. Gentle and reassuring and thumbs up for the relaxation at the end. My husband did this with me too and we both fell asleep one evening because we relaxed so much! Definate thumbs up!

Summary: Yoga and Getting in Touch With Your Inner (Unborn) Child
Review: 3 models in various stages of pregnancy (from barely showing to just about ready to pop) are lead through 30 minutes of standing and 20 minutes of sitting yoga by a female narrator's sleep-inducing, voice-over. The setting is a health spa studio and the only props are a rug, blanket and chair (a block and strap are also used). The 2 more pregnant models demonstrate less-challanging alternatives for many of the poses, which makes this tape effective for pretty much the entire pregnancy.

The tape is thankfully short on new agey-ness and simply presents a straight forward workout. The poses provide some toning, but basically provide for some really good stretching. There is even a short 'guided relaxation' at the end which is sure to cure the worst insomnia.
Highly recommended.

Summary: Very good video
Review: I used this video along with YogaMama from the Crunch series. They compliment each other well, with the latter being slightly shorter/easier for days when you are feeling less energetic. I did notice a couple of editing errors, but overall the video is of good quality with relaxing narration and music. I would certainly recommend the video to expectant yoga mammas.

Summary: This video is excellent
Review: I write this review slowly because there's an almost sleeping baby in my arms - a very healthy baby, part of which I attribute to this tape. I did this tape every day of my pregnancy, modifying the postures as I entered the next trimester, and I felt great throughout - I was carrying twins, and delivered two 5.5 oz full term baby boys, and recovered in record time. This tape is wonderful - I originally came onto this web site to see if Shiva Rea had any other yoga videos I could purchase - it doesn't appear so, however, I decided to write this review because she deserves the credit for an extremely valuable video that I never grew tired of following.

Summary: Worth Purchasing
Review: Prenatal yoga is worth buying for pregnant women looking for an at-home guide to stretching. The scenery and music are pleasant, and the instruction is easy to follow. It features one women for each trimester, who adjust the yoga exercises accordingly. I do it once a week, in addition to 3 days per week of one-hour cardio exercise/light weight-lifting sessions at the gym. I wish I had the time to do Prenatal Yoga more often; it's hard to find an hour to myself with my 2 1/2 year old son. This video seems to help ease backaches and stiffness associated with pregnancy. I view this yoga video as a convenient but important complement to my multi-faceted exercise rountine.

Summary: I can move again!
Review: This is the cure for those tight, stretched, achy muscles that make it difficult to sleep or move comfortably! Nothing works better for me. After an hour of these stretching and relaxing exercises I feel like myself again. The instructor isn't hokey and there aren't any of those new-age, flakey, or quasi-religious overtones like some other videos out there. The instructor is easy to follow even if you haven't done yoga before. Best of all, after I did this video just once I felt more flexible and it was easier for me to stand up straight and breathe!

Summary: Feels amazing..
Review: This video is very easy to follow and despite the subtlety of the moves, you feel amazingly limber and relaxed afterward. I try to complete the tape twice a week, but it can be broken into 20-30 minute sessions. I"m carrying twins and it's the only thing that helps me reduce my body aches and discomfort.

Summary: Very relaxing
Review: I have been doing exercise tapes pre-pregnancy, and have several yoga tapes; I wanted to switch to pregnancy tapes just to make sure I'm doing things right - this one is a really nice yoga tape that I will probably use even after the baby comes. It's not boring like some of my other tapes, and I love how they show different modifications for different levels and trimesters - the workout is not really strenuous, but feels wonderful! I finish it feeling much more relaxed and limber.
