Summary: AWESOME!
Review: AWESOME!!!

When I started to sign with my son I purchased this video along with MANY other childrens signing videos. Of all the videos this is the ONLY one which captured his attention AND reinforced the signs we were learning. My son loved the signing bear and the music which plays throughout the video. This video is set up very much like the Baby Einstein series videos. The only difference is that signs are introduced.

My son, now 3 years old, will still request to watch the video (even though he knows all of the signs in the video). If you are going to invest your money in a signing video this is most certainly the video to buy.

Summary: Fabulous!
Review: I got this video when my eldest daughter was learning signs. She loved it! A few times as we were getting in the car, I'd see her doing a sign, but didn't know what she was saying (it wasn't a sign I'd been teaching her). Then one day a friend was with me and said, "Look, she's signing KEYS!" She was! She completely learned that sign (and many others) from that video. Now my second daughter (8 months old) watches that video and loves it. She already has four signs, all learned through the Wide-Eyed Learning method. It's wonderful.

As to the video, it reminds me of the Baby Einstein videos. There are lots of different toys used, plus actual objects, for each sign. At the end of the video, the creator gives a lesson on how to teach sign language to your infant. I highly recommend this video!

Summary: Excellent sign language video!
Review: My 10-month-old son loves this video. Unlike so many other babies, he did not enjoy Baby Einstein at all, and would cry after a few minutes of it. But he sits and watches this video very intently. He really likes the bear and all the kids. The parent segment at the end, which explains how to begin signing with your baby, is very helpful. I would definitely recommend this video to all parents.

Summary: fun for child--great info for parents
Review: Signing Smart is an ASL-based program that emphasizes learning and teaching signs to your child through play and everyday life. The video that goes with this program is great. It has children and a bear doing many basic signs with lots of real world images. (By the way, you will not want to full your hair outbecause of the soundtrack on this one!) My son loves to watch this video with me, and it is easy to pull out toys and items that match what is going on in the video to help make the connection. The many children in the video are signing and can help parents know what to watch for.

At the end of the video there is a tips for parents section which both my husband and I have found useful. It emphasizes different ways to connect the sign and what it signifies for your child. Again, it shows more (very young) children actually doing signs to help us parents know that "when I flap my hand this way, it means bear."

I have some other signing videos, but this is the one my son enjoys the most, and makes it the easiest for me to interact with him.

Summary: Great First Signing Video
Review: This was my first signing video I purchased for my daughter. I purchased it at a baby sign language seminar. My daughter never watches tv, but when I purchased this video I was hoping it would grab her attention so she would begin learing new signs. I am happy to say that she did indeed enjoy this video, as did I and her father. We all learned signs in the video together. I would recommend this video as a start to learing baby sings.

Summary: Great First Signing Video
Review: This was so easy for us (parents) and simple enough for our 10 month old to learn 3 signs in the first viewing! This video has helped us to communicate with our daughter and there was nothing to it. She is now 2 years old and still loves to watch this video. This video is a must have for every family.

Summary: This video is WONDERFUL!
Review: We got this video when we took the Wide Eyed Learning sign language class for beginners. It's wonderful! My son absolutely loves watching it and it's how he picked up his first signs. This video is especially important because it not only shows you how a sign is done, but also shows how the sign might look when your baby does it back to you. Sign language has made a huge difference in our household in terms of communication and reducing temper tantrums. I recommend this product wholeheartedly!

Summary: Best Video We've Found
Review: We have reviewed many of the Sign Language Videos out there for hearing infants/toddlers, and this one is by far the best. The other ones bored by daughter and she didn't watch them for more than 2-3 minutes. She's watched this one so many times, she's got it memorized. She calls it "Bear Video" (in sign language) and requests it often!
