Review: Well out of all the other Einstein titles, I myself personally was'nt wild about this one.
But I did'nt buy this video for me.
I bought it for my daughter and it's alot better then other stuff our kids are subjected to on the TV.
As long as it makes her happy and we're spending what quality time we have together(working mom) and I'm teaching her and showing her something this video gets my 5 stars.

Summary: My boys love it
Review: I have 9 month twin boys and Baby Galileo is their 2nd video in the series. It really keeps their attention and has a wonderful variety of scenery. I'm very disappointed in ones who have written in and said they did not like it. We must remember all children have different taste. Also, this video was not made to entertain or educate adults! We should be happy that videos like BE has been made for our children because there is so much garbage out there that many allow their little ones to watch. I would recommend this video to any parent.

Summary: a Change Of Heart Here
Review: My daughter (now 14 mos.), is a big Baby Einstein fan. I bought this video when it first came out since my daughter loves to look at the moon in the sky with her father. To my surprise she had no interest in this video and whined until I shut it. I then read the reviews here and realized my daughter wasn't the only one who disliked this one. So we put it away and watched her other faves. I could only take so much of the others before I decided to try this one again. My daughter sat through half of it. Next time she watched it completely. I haven't had a problem since. This one now captivates her. We've had problems getting her to sleep on her own. We always have to rock her to sleep which is much harder now that she's older. Now we give her a bath, tuck her favorite doll under her arm and we watch this video. It calms her completely and when it's over we put her to bed and she'll go to sleep on her own. I couldn't be happier. She may not understand much about the sky but she has learned how to concentrate and we now have a great bedtime ritual. Hopefully in a while she won't need the video to be put down to bed for sleep. Baby Einstein has come through yet again. So to all the discouraged buyers, I advise you to try again. Your child may have a change of heart just as mine did.

Summary: Baby likes it.
Review: This is our first Baby Einstein video. We received it as a gift while we were still in the hospital. Although the age range is 9 months and up, and we were leaning toward not having our baby watch television, we decided to give it a try.

I think the music and the images go together wonderfully. The puppets are cute and the toys are interesting. Our baby (now two months old) seems to enjoy it. Sometimes he watches actively, other times it puts him to sleep. Either way is fine with us.

We enjoyed it enough that it prompted us to take another Baby Einstein title out of the library. Turned out that we didn't like that one quite as much, but we certainly intend to try other titles.

Summary: Big Disappointment
Review: I am a huge fan of the earlier Baby Einstein videos. My son loves Baby Mozart, Baby Van Gogh and Baby Shakespeare and I am amazed and captivated as well! Particularly Van Gogh and Shakespeare capture my son's attention because of the puppetry. So, when I saw the title Baby Gallileo and the description I thought this would be perfect for my 15 month old son, as he loves the moon, the sky, the stars in all his books. Well, he cries when this video is put on! I have noticed a change from the earlier videos - the puppets aren't the same (and children like familiarity) and even if they are different, there's not enough of them! This is the second video we've purchased that we have been disappointed with since the company was sold (Baby Beethoven is boring to my son.) I don't want to give up on the company just yet, but I think I will have to preview them before buying them from now on.

Summary: Agree! Very disappointing.
Review: Our 1-year-old son has 6 of the Baby Einstein DVDs. He usually loves watching them, but for this one, he (and we) do not enjoy it at all. It feels like virtually every item they show on the screen is spinning. He gets very restless and we understand why. If you want a DVD to make you feel dizzy, buy this one. If you would prefer to better spend your money, buy Baby Mozart or Baby Neptune.

Summary: The Kangaroo has got to go!
Review: Really, the kangaroo puppets are a bit freaky looking and the lighted flying saucer looks like something out of the '70s! i kept looking over and over to be sure this was a new release---and scarily so, the graphics are pathetic for something done in 2003! (What happened to the awesome stuff used in Baby Neptune with FRIENDLY looking puppets and sweet children?!?!?) Is it more than a little strange how different in style and scale the BE dvds are? Also, a good bit of the music is just a repeat from prior baby einstein productions. a really lousy, low-budget looking film on the whole. I end this by saying what big fans we (vis a vis our toddler) are of baby einstein productions-particularly baby mozart, neptune and now baby beethoven. We will not give up on BE but will continue to view the new releases from netflix before buying.

Summary: My daughter loves this video
Review: She usually takes a few viewings to warm up to the typical Baby Einstein videos-- I don't know if it's the hand-held puppets or what, but with Baby Galileo, from the first time she watched it, she sits and giggles at the kangaroo. She loves when he comes onscreen in between the different chapters and lets go of his balloons. I like it because it's so "updated" compared to the rest of the videos and actually has chapters, where it names the objects they're viewing. This is definitely one of the few videos of hers I'll sit and watch with her! I find it as entertaining for adults as it is for the children.
