Summary: Excellent animation, music and content
Review: Even though the only reviews were positive, I wasn't sure what to expect from this video. However, it has exceeded my expectations.

The audience in this case is a rather mechanically inclined (child), a mom who never quite "got" physics in HS or college, and my other (child) who is quite intelligent. So, we're all over the place in terms of knowledge and interest. However, we all enjoy the video in our own little way.

The (younger child) enjoys the music, likes Max a lot and asks, "What is Max going to do next?" and likes to name the colors and ask the names of the planets. Every time she watches it she picks up something including some terminology as I comment out loud.

Me, I watch and read the guide that comes with it on the DVD that you can also pick up on their website of an obvious URL. I wonder if I was just stupid in HS and college or if the basics are simply better explained in this guide because I finally *get* it. BTW, there is no real dialog in the DVD. You have to supply it yourself.

Older daughter doesn't have as much time in front of the video, so I can't say much about it other than that she likes to watch it, makes the occasional astute comment and leaves me some hope for a better physics career than her old mom! How's that for a run-on?

We've done some exercises to demonstrate what we have seen on the video, like playing with prisms and dropping objects of different weights. I hope to do more with the kids in the future. In fact, the only way I think I would love this video more is if it were packaged with a mini-physics lab.

They say they are coming out with a similar video directed at older children and we will definitely purchase it.

Summary: Cant describe in words how much my child loves this video
Review: Finally, a kids video that teaches, entertains, and isn't full of bee-bop nonsense! Our 4 year old boy and 6 month old girl both LOVE it! Highly recommended!

Review: My three year old loves Newton. He even wanted to do his own test to see if he dropped a big toy and a small toy on his bed if they would land at the same time like the balls in the movie. He is full of questions every time we watch it and we talk about it often even though he may not have seen it for quite some time. I was dubious at the "Physics for Kids" on the cover, but I have been a believer since the first time I watched it. I just bought three copies to give as gifts to my sons friends.

Summary: FUN AND PHYSICS
Review: My two boys ages 6 and 3 were immediately captivated by this innovative and highly creative DVD. They are fascinated by Max the Cat and follow him excitedly as he learns the basic laws of physics. They both ask to watch it again and again. My youngest boy especially loves the music and dances throughout the entire 30 minutes. We hope this is the first in a series. Highly recommend!

Summary: Not well suited for toddlers
Review: My two year old is not interested in the video. I think this would be excellent for a younger child. The video is more along the lines of Baby Mozart than something geared for toddlers. The parents guide was not in the DVD case.

Summary: Our 15 month old Twins loved this dvd
Review: This is a wonderful dvd, great animation , interesting music and very clever way to introduce physics to your kids. Our 15 month old twins wanted to see this dvd over and over and they were completely captivated by it.
I would highly recommend this for toddlers and young children. When the next installment of this comes out we will buy it right away.

Summary: Cant describe in words how much my child loves this video
Review: This is one video my daughter has loved since when she was about a year old to now (almost 2). Excellent music, low-clutter, minimal enjoyable expressions by a very lovable cat and some bonus physics to learn - I could nominate this for any award. Whenever my daugter fusses to eat, we play this and we can feed her merrily until she is full. She has watched this more than 20 times and she does not get bored even for a minute.. this by a girl that cannot hold her attention for even minutes at a time with any other kid's programs. Rent it from your local library if you do not wanna buy!
