Rating: Summary: very short Review: my 22mo. old loves this, every time he goes potty he has to watch the video, but it is very short, the movie is only 7 minutes. I recommend renting this.
Rating: Summary: An asked for video Review: My 3 year old LOVES this video. He watched it everyday until our VCR broke. He still will get the video out and ask to watch it. It even intrigues my 17 month old. They love the book and the video. I can't turn the video off until the "Potty Song" is completely over. I just wish my 3 year old would try to be like Joshua and use the potty.
Rating: Summary: Loved It! Review: My 3 yr old and 2 yr old love to mimic the kids in this movie. My Boys watch this movie while sitting on the potty. both are now potty trained! It's a wondreful video.
Rating: Summary: Both of my sons loved the video and the book!! Review: My first son loved for us to read the book to him. Then when my second son was born I knew that I had to find the video. With our second child potty training has been very difficult. But thanks to this video, I think that it has calmed some fears and some discomforts that he had about using the potty. I highly recommend this to anyone with small children!!
Rating: Summary: Rented it for my first son, buying it for the next 2 Review: My older son is almost 5 and we STILL remember the potty song! This video was THE final puzzle piece to potty training for us. Right after Joshua used the potty successfully in the video, my son ran over to the potty (with the video still on) and did it too. My twin boys are almost 2 and I'm ordering the DVD for them. I'm hopeful for the same success this time around.
Rating: Summary: a pottyful experience Review: my son is two and a half years old and have been introduced to this potty video for a few months now. He seems interested with seeing children sitting on the potty and he surely likes this video's potty song. I feel that he might be a little confused by the examples this video shows of what we don't do with the potty (ex. not a bird nest, not a flower pot, not a hat, etc.). Although he asks to watch it, yet not too comfortable with using it himself. I will update this review at the time of new developments.
Rating: Summary: This video will get any kid to use the potty Review: My son was three and still didn't want to use the potty. He tried it from time to time but always wanted his diaper back on. Just when I thought all hope was lost I checked this video out from my local library. He loved this video and it didn't hurt that his name was Joshua too just like the little boy in the video. He watched this video three times a day for two weeks and then voila ... it just happened. I couldn't have done it without this video. It's a must for any parent and child. If only we had gotten it sooner!
Rating: Summary: Don't Bother If Your Child Has A Brain!! Review: This book is not for anyone whose child has a brain. Why in this day and age anyone would teach their child to say "wee-wee" and "pee-pee" let alone encourage your child by reading this book to them is beyond me. I love books, therefore, I donated this to the local library rather than throwing it away - which was what I wanted to do.
Rating: Summary: Who ever thought learning to use the potty could be so fun! Review: This is a terrific video for younger toddlers learning to use the potty. The story about Joshua and his potty is entertaining and shows kids just what to do. The potty song at the end is terrific with it's pictures of actual toddlers on their potties. We are still singing it at our house!
Rating: Summary: an excellent tool, my son loved it!! Review: This movie left us all songing the potty song, especially my son, who wanted nothing to do with potty training until he saw it!! I highly recommend it.
