Summary: Not for older potty-trainers
Review: A friend gave me this video hoping it would help train my reluctant 3-year-old. While he was very interested in the tape and even bopped to the song, it did not help him overall.

One, the children looked younger than 2 years old! So he did not relate on that level and kept referring to the children in the video as "babies" and "cute little babies!"

Two, the potty used is not the type of potty commonly used in the United States (at least in my opinion.) The part about what a potty is "not" for became redundant and boring for a child who didn't relate to that "what is it?" to begin with.

Three, the only reference to a true toilet was when Mommy poured the wee-wee into the toilet.

On the other hand, I read negative reviews about seeing the 'hole' in the cartoon fanny of Joshua. Well, I want raise my child to know his body parts -- as a child well-versed in their own body and its functions is statistically less likely to be targeted by a sex offender. I didn't think this reference was a big deal, and it even helped me teach my child about that particular body function.

I would only recommend this tape to those who are training children in the 1 to 2 year old range and using a similar potty. (It looks like a molded-to-underside bowl.)

Summary: It gets the job done
Review: Every time my 2 1/2-year-old son watches this video, he requests the potty chair and happily sits on it for the duration. Then he happily helps us flush his "achievement" down the toilet. This video helps children identify their various body parts and their functions and makes potty learning fun. This video has been a great jump-start to my son's potty learning process.

Review: Having twins boys, everything was a challenge. Potty training being no exception. After trying for what seemed like forever and the twins being three years old, I was ready to give up. I purchased this video as a last resort, played it and in no time at all I had successfully potty trained my twins. I used this tape with my next child and had successfully potty trained him before the age of two!! I didn't need to push my children to learn, it just came naturally, with them wanting to mimic the video. It is a cute tape with such a catchy song,(which we sang all over town) that my children continued to watch it even after they had mastered Potty Training! There is also a parent section that has some great information and reasuring words of encouragement.I will definetly be using this tape on the grandkids!! Bring them on.....

Summary: Rent it before you buy it.
Review: I borrowed this video along with other Potty Training videos from the library. This was my least favorite. I instead highly recommend "Its Potty Time".

Summary: Very short and not entertaining, but gets the point across
Review: I borrowed this video from the library and am glad I did. The actual section for the kids was very short and simple. They go through the basics. The animation is kind of cardboard-like, so don't expect this video to be entertaining or have a storyline. I didn't bother watching the parent's section. However the video must have worked because my son started insisting on the toilet.

Summary: Disappointed
Review: I bought this for my 2 year old son and it helped a little bit but it gave him a thought about putting the small potty on his head like wearing a hat, the video shows children doing that and my son picked that up and quit using the small potty and will only use the "Big Potty" and I think that if he were still using the little potty he would be completely potty-trained. In my opinion this video did more harm than good and its also way too short for children to get interested in... This is just my opinion... I hope this opinion helped..

Summary: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Review: I didn't this video was great at all. The songs are okay. They can be better. And the visual is terrible. First of all, the potties that are portrayed in this video are not all something that a 2 year old would grasp as looking anything remotely close to a toilet. It's very confusing. This video also refers to the different ways that you use the toilet in only one certain way. This makes it difficult for a child of a certain background to understand exactly what the video is trying to teach.

ex. Not everyone will call #2 poopoo or poo.

I think this video needs a lot of work. And it is way too short!

Review: I do not recommend this video to anyone. It is only five minutes long and is a waste of money. The video shows a few sketches of cartoon and keep repeating it like there is no new skteches that are available. I find this annoying. My 16 months old walk away after watching for less than two minutes in three separate viewing...
