Summary: A fun and educational video
Review: I purchased the video for my son's 1st birthday and he is absolutely captivated by the lively music and images. He usually does not sit still during other videos but he absolutely loves this one and he will sit on my lap and watch it. I only wish I knew about this series when he was much younger. I plan on purchasing more of these videos for him in the future and well as for my friends daughter. I enjoy them too!!

Summary: My One Year Old Daughter's Favorite
Review: We bought this tape for my daughter a few months ago after seeing how enthralled she was with Baby Mozart. At first, she only watched it for about 5-10 mintues and still preferred Baby Mozart. However, as she got closer to turning one, she started to lose interest in Baby Mozart and was rivited by Baby Dolittle Neighborhood Animals. She watches the entire DVD and even gruts back to the tape when they start a section on a new animal (I think she thinks she is saying the animal's name). We don't really use the other DVD features but it is nice that you can view the puppet sections seperately, which are her favorite. I would highly recommend this video.

Summary: Excellent choice
Review: My 18 month old daughter as grown up with Baby Einsten videos. Baby Dolittle- Neighborhood Animals is one of her favorites. She has been singing, "EE II EE II OOOOOO" all around the house to anyone who will listen. She loves watching the kids in the video, as well as the animals. It has been delightful to hear her name the animals before they actually say them on the tape. Buy this! It's even fun for you to watch!

Summary: Dolittle gets the thumbs up from our triplets
Review: We love both Dolittle Neighborhood Animals, and Van Gogh.
Dolittle is about animals and discovery, and Van Gogh about
colors and chilling out.
If you buy 2, these are our recommendations.
The others are repetitive of each other, except Baby Einstein which is miserably boring although a great concept.
Hats off to Julie Clark, she has helped us entertain our triplets during the toughest moments, and we enjoy watching the
vids with them.
Since variety is the key, I wouldn't recommend more than two of this group. Pat the Bunny and the Wiggles are great to try something new, and Baby KNow-It-All is quite the reference bible for showing babies their abilities and including them in the
programs.
Now that the chilren are old enough (17 months) to enjoy Blue's Clue's, we are all having a wonderful time with non-classical based vids.
I'd say buy Baby Einstein Co. videos for infants to 2 years,
Baby Know It All for 6-36 months and Pat the Bunny, the Wiggles and Blue's clues for 18 months plus.
Best Potty video, is Once upon a potty.

Summary: Kid likes it and it involves music....
Review: My 17 mo. old daughter doesn't like to watch cartoons yet thank goodness. She loves to watch music video - kids singing and dancing. But I ran across the Baby Mozart and Dolittle videos and thought I'd give them a try. She loves watching the puppets and I like the fact it involves music. I have my daughter listen to piano music at night while falling asleep, so I was very excited to see a video that provided video of things in a toddlers world with interactive classical music. I've seen a few people say my "baby hated it." It took my daughter until she was over a year old to be focused on them and actually watch them. Now when she sees the animals, she names them while they are on the screen. It's better than having your kid sit glued to cartoons that aren't even educational. And I feel these tapes are educational. I'd rather have my daughter sit, listen to the music and watch this video than most the other garbage out there.

Summary: Neighborhood Animals
Review: My son LOVES this video. Both Baby Doolittle videos are very educational & so cute. My son laughs the whole time. The length of the video is just right for a baby's attention span.

Summary: wonderful video
Review: This is the best video that a mother could ask for. I will put this video on and I know that I have at least 20 minutes to get dressed in the morning. My son is glued to the screen when this video comes on. It has been a big help in keeping a little sanity in the house.

Summary: I'm writing this for my daughter.
Review: She's just 2 years old, and can't type. But I'm sure she likes me to give a very positive review to this movie, alas to the whole collection named Baby Einstein. The first and second time we played them, she just ignored a lot. But you know what? I think she was just too small. Today she loves to watch, enjoy the music, kisses the TV set, make noises, etc. She's a lot of fun. And so are these DVDs.

Summary: Just Got This Tape!!!!!!!
Review: Nothing holds my 10 month old's attention for long, except Mommy and Daddy. I bought a few other tapes, and he'd sit for a minute or two but immediately after putting this tape on my son has been mesmorized! Just hanging out enjoying the tape and giving "mom" some needed free time!

Summary: Your kid might like it But it doesn't mean it's a good thing
Review: Although the idea behind "Baby Einstein" collection is excellent, the implementation (presentation) and execution of the idea are very poor.

After reviewing "Baby Dolittle Neighborhood Animals", which many people gave it 5 stars, I was quite disappointed...

Objectively speaking, this program doesn't deserve 5 stars. It is better to take the idea and implement it in your own ways... See it for yourself! I almost bought it and the entire "Baby Einstein" when I saw the first few 5 star reviews on Amazon.com!! Until I read couple reviews that actually reviewed the "program" not "the reaction of their children to the program". Those reviews gave me more of a objective view on this tape and the "Baby Einstein" series.

Get this program mainly for its entertainment value, not for education one.
