Summary: Oliver Stone`s funny masterpice
Review: Oliver Stone maked this movie in 40 days. The acting is great and large, the budget is low but Stone`s hypercinetic style is full of surprises, never being boring. From the opening credits you sit down and take two hours notice until the end when you are wondering how quickly the time was gone. I`m know this is not Stone best film, but hey, it`s no conspiracy here, it`s just fun.

Summary: Great!
Review: This movie is great... it is satirical and hilarious. The camera work gets you into the feel of the Arizona desert. Also, when something happens to Sean Penn, you feel it with him. I have seen this movie twice and I do plan on buying it soon. But do not rent/own this if you think its totaly "drama"... because its not.

Summary: awful, awful, AWFUL!
Review: This movie was AWFUL! The camera was shaky all the way through. I tought it was stupid that Jennifer Lopez was having sex with her own father, and her acting was and still is corny. Plus, she shows of her breasts in that movie, which is totally sick, and unrolemodelish. Claire Dane's character was funny, and I found it funny that everytime that man kept trying to get away, something else would happen, and he would have to start all over again. The end was awful, and you see that everything that happen in the movie just kept going in circles. I thought that was pretty funny. All in all, do not go see this movie. It is stupid, and really makes no sense. Plus, they kept playing all this weird Indian music that was really creepy. What a blah movie, with such good actors, too. What a shame.

Summary: Columbo
Review: I had read U-Turn was very different type of movie and it was. The story line was great, the acting suburb. It was a who's who going on there. I mean, did anyone know that was Jon Voight as the blind man until the credits at the end? The ending though was what really got me, all I kept thinking was if Lt. Columbo came across these bodies, would he be able to figure out the sequence of events?

Summary: Odd, very odd, but good.......I guess
Review: Sean Penn stars as a man who's being chased after by gangsters or some sort. He get's caught in a small town with very unique, odd and frightening characters. There's Billy Bob Thorton, the hillbilly care repair man, there's Jon Voight the blind Indian man, there's Jennifer Lopez as a seductress woman married to Nick Nolte, a crazy old man, and then there's Claire Danes who likes to make trouble with her "boyfriend" Joancian Pheonix. It's an odd movie...very odd. The camera was shaky and I did not like that but besides that it was an okay movie.

Summary: .
Review: I reviewed this once before but the review never appeared. I will do so again -- that is how strongly I feel that this movie blows. An obnoxious exercise in wacky pretentious MTV-ish camerawork (a la Natural Born Killers.) The movie is not half as clever or risque as it seems to think it is, and there are a number of scenes, moments, and snatches of dialogue which are absurd and laughable. Jennifer Lopez is silly, Claire Danes and others just out of place, and even Nick Nolte, Billy Bob Thorton, and Sean Penn are caricturized a little too boisterously to be taken seriously even in the surreal context of the film. On the whole, this just looks like Oliver Stone trying to prove that he is hip. The roadkill scene in the beginning of the movie is a good example; it tries to say: "Grr! Look how hip, brutal, and indifferent this movie is," but instead just comes off as tastelessness for the sheer sake of tastelessness. In any case it's a drawn out and boring movie, with nothing but flashy visuals going for it.

Summary: totaly werid
Review: This Movie is in some parts....funny (TNT), Sad(Lopez's story), Sexy (just Lopez), mad (the twisted events that happen to these peoeple)....and overall I think it's STRANGE, and it realy gets you thinking and wandering.....

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Most twisted movie ever.
Review: This was a very well made movie, which I really enjoyed. All the characters were filled with personal demons, and Sean Penn, who is the best actor ever, actually makes you feel sorry for him, even though he was a complete slimeball, along with the rest of the characters. I think critics who didnt get the humor of the movie are not multidimensional.

Summary: A Diabolical And Wild Ride!
Review: After making such masterpieces like "JFK," "Natural Born Killers," and "Nixon," Oliver Stone has taken a break in making the devilishly fun film, "U-Turn." This is a story with many strange events which suits the strange town the characters walk around in. The story is wonderfully wierd, intriguing, and sizzling. Eventhough this is one of Stone's lesser films, it's still superbly crafted with some great editing and cinematography. "U-Turn" is also entertaining, wild, and darkly comic. You almost feel quilty for laughing at some of the stuff in here. But what I loved best was Jennifer Lopez, who's super-sexy in this film (look at those legs! That behind!). Oliver Stone is a talented film director who knows how to handel material of this nature and does so with success here. But, he has done all of us men a favor by showing Lopez naked! Wow!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A bit depressing but mostly hilarious!
Review: When I started watching this I thought it was going to be a suspense-drama movie but as it progressed I couldn't stop laughing! Especially "TNT", I thought he stole the show. Joaquin Phoenix is one talented actor! Sean Penn also gave a great performance as a total slimeball who would do anything to save his own butt and yet I was sort of rooting for him in the end. Definitely different, and truly humorous!
