Summary: Demi breaks down the gender gap
Review: I have heard that Demi is really stooping to a new low by taking a part in this movie. To them I say, "well I guess you haven't seen Srip-tease." In actuality, this is a very challenging role for any woman because SEAL training is the most difficult training in the world. Luckily, she had a very supporting husband who probably cared more for her than Bruce Willis ever did. The whole theme of this movie is one that would make the Spice girls pause for a moment. The most exciting part is when Demi faces off with the Texas politician. That's when you know Demi is the kind of person who means business. It is no wonder that she wants to be a commando.

Summary: FUN
Review: A fun movie with mostly realistic seal training. What wasn't realistic others have pointed out. But I do have to say it again: Having heart alone doesn't get you through that kind of intense physical training. A woman of that caliber wouldn't last a day, let alone a week. There are are very few men who can complete that training let alone a plastic surgery enhanced desk jockey.

Summary: ANOTHER BOMB BY RIDLEY!
Review: What is the deal here Ridley? Ridley Scott's choice of subject matter is going way down hill. He has recently made movie's about ignorant pretty boy sailors tooling about on a schooner, and here he is making a movie about ignorant army dudes tooling about on a female g.i. NO MORE ARMY MOVIES!!!!!!! No more military movies period! We are inundated enough about the horrors of war and anything to do with war!

In this film, Ridley Scott makes good use of rain (it seems as though that's his trademark signature) and some of his dark color schemes play out quite nice on the screen. Most of the characters in G.I Jane are quite forgetable unfortunately.

One classic scene in this film though! Demi Moore on the verge of collapse, (looking like a tweaked out version of Sinead O'Conner) looks directly into her sergeants face and utters the classic line "SUCK MY _ _ _ _.

It's worth seeing just for that one part.

Summary: Moore regains dignity with smash hit.
Review: Truly a great war movie. Moore rocks as a Lt. in the U.S. Navy who gets to be the first woman ever allowed to train to be a S.E.A.L. Not only does she become a S.E.A.L., but she also kicks some major male butt as she proves not only men are soldiers. A great film.

Summary: A pretty good war movie even though it is unrealistic.
Review: If this event were to take place Demi Moore shows the determination and the will power needed to overcome any obstacle. A movie of this kind makes you wonder if women can endure this type of phyiscal punishment. All in all G.I. Jane is an entertaining and action packed movie.

Summary: Hollywood does the SEALs
Review: What I don't get about this movie is that speech at the beginning of training when the Capt. says,"you are all experienced operators." What does that mean? I don't think that anybody has to be an experienced 'operator' to try out for bud/s. In fact, most of those recruits are just die hard sailors who want to live the fast life. Most 'experienced operators' stick to thier present profession. I think it's a movie script ploy to make the SEALs out to look like more than they really are yet in actuality, they don't need to overdone and exagerrated. It just wouldn't be a movie though without all of the twists of facts. And another thing, SERE school is located in the desert. SEALs are also required to display the utmost professionalism. Although they are not required to salut their officers, that scene during SERE training when the two trainees swim out into the lagoon against the Lt's orders would have gotten them booted out and sent back to the fleet (or wherever they came from) for good. When the safety of your team requires the highest standards in teamwork and organization, no exceptions are made.

Summary: GREAT MOVIE
Review: I THOUGHT THIS WAS AVERY GOOD MOVIE. I ESPECIALLY LIKE HOW IT FOCUSED ON HOW WOMEN ARE DEGRADED. I THOUGHT SHE ACTED VERY WELL IN THE MOVIE. I ESPECIALLY LIKE IT WHEN SHE STARTED TO BEAT UP THE CHEIF AND WHEN SHE SAID "SUCK MY ****". ROCK ON TO WOMEN EVERYWHERE!!!

Summary: Fantastic film about a Hot Button issue
Review: This movie is a very well done picture, with every performance whole and believeable. A movie with subject matter of this sort could not be pulled off without just the right leading lady, and Demi Moore is the perfect Jordan O'Neil. Her efforts and struggles are portrayed with the appropriate grit- no excess sentiment. The plot is layered well, and is very exciting because the characters do not fit a good guy/bad guy mold... often many of the character's motives are unclear. Demi Moore's very muscular physique in this movie gives more weight to the argument for women in combat than a dialog about equality ever could. This movie definitely roots for Lt. O'Neil, but ultimately lets you make up your own mind.

Summary: Exellent performance from Moore!!!
Review: Demi Moore definetly outdoes herself in this non-stop, edge-of-your-seat, action thriller. Moore plays Jordan, a young woman who wants to join the United States Army. With help from the senetor, she soon gets in. Is the senetor reall the nice sweet person she pretends to be, or is she not woh everyone thinks she is? This action-packed thriller will have your heart racing to the spellbinding conclusion. This film is terrific.

Summary: Movie stinks, Demi Moore shaving her head...
Review: Like I typed in the one-line review, the movie gets about 1 1/2 stars, the Demi head-shaving gets 4 1/2 stars; if only there were no music, and she could cry...
