Summary: The Film To Watch
Review: Just like all of the previous reviews here, I think this is a must-see film. I am from London, England and the film has only been out here since 4th August but I have seen it twice and loved it both times.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: "Let's Go"
Review: i went into this film thinking that it would not be that good, because it had not got very good reviews in all of the magazines, and i came out thinking that it was a lot better than it is given credit for. it has fast cars, it has Angelina Jolie (what more can u ask for in the female daepartment! ), and it has an outstanding cast. the film it self tells the story of how a group of people have to steal 50 cars in one night to save Nicholas Cage's brother, Giovanni Ribisi. from the speeding cars to a few good bits of comedy, this film is one not to miss!

Summary: thrilling ride
Review: i don't know about anyone else, but i adore Angelina Jolie. However, many may feel that she isn't in enough scenes. I personally thought that this movie was one of her best, along with Nicholas Cage of course. I loved this movie from day one. And I've seen it three times, so far. So, for all those car lovers of all ages, and those, like me who love Angelina, it's a must see. Eventhough I'm just a girl, i was totally enthralled!

Summary: They Have Got To Be Joking
Review: I am embarressed for all the people who will watch this movie and thimk it is great. Poor soul's. The might actually believe a car can jump that high and far, land on its headlights and drive away. The origional (1974) is by far the best car chase movie ever. 40 minutes on the screen. All believable. See the origional and don't waste money on this rubbish. If there was a no-star option, I would have checked that one.

Summary: cars, cars and more cars
Review: if you love fast cars, then this film is for you. There are ferraris, porsche, lamborghini and even the shelby mustang. These cars are the true stars of the film. It contains some awesome chase scens. This movie is a must see for all rev heads.

Review: This was an excellent movie! I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. This is definitely something I will want to see again and again. I think Nicolas Cage is a great actor. I also think that this is one of his best movies yet. I can't wait for it to be released on DVD and Video so I can buy it to add to my Nicolas Cage collection.

Summary: Not as good as the original
Review: Back in the early seventies the original "Gone in Sixty Seconds" was around. A 'B' movie with no names. Actually, the impressive thing about the move was that the actors were all stunt drivers of the time. So obviously the acting stunk but the driving was fantastic. Better than the current move. Unfortunately not even Amazon carries the old move. Am I glad I have a copy. In the original, the Mustang is a 73 Mach 1 and industructable. The best thing was that the final chase was 45 minutes long in a movie that is 1 hour 36 minutes. The mustang is never repaired for the scenes shot. You can record every dent and bang. It is the same car through the entire chase driven with the damage it incurred during the stunts. Very cool. The driving is extra-ordinary. Not like the Hollywood jazz in the current movie and the cartoon like jump at the end. I highly recommend true motor heads to see the original, but then again anyone serious about cars and car flicks has already seen it. Along with 4 Lane Black Top and Vanishing Point. In the original "Gone..." as you look at the credits the actors names and the stunt driver names are the same. Great movie. Hope you can find it or Amazon locates out of print copies. In the mean time you can drool over the current version. But save some drool for the original when you find it.

Summary: WHAT 60 seconds?
Review: I was drawn to the movie for the 'ladies' in the movie - the cars.

Memphis is back in the business after a long retirement - to save his kid brother by stealing 50 cars in 24 hours.

I am rather puzzled as to how the title for the movie was derived. There was no mention nor showing of the crew stealing a car in 60 seconds. Infact, if you're hoping to catch the 'pros' in the act of leading the ladies away, you'd be disappointed.

As expected, a chase scene encompassing a 1967 GT500 and the police on both land and in the air which makes one wonder, how does a 30 year old car out run modern ones.

A very predictable storyline with little for anyone to miss. If you like to see cars, perhaps they would make up for the lack of a good plot.

Summary: Excellent movie
Review: I don't know what those other people are talking about but I thought that it was a great movie. Somebody said that the cars being given names made this movie worse! I thought it made it better, it gives the cars more character. I don't know what the original was like but i thought that the movie was great, it had action, adventure and everything that a good car enthusiast would love to see. Anyhow I'm really looking forward to buying it on DVD.
