Summary: The most incredible emotinal experience
Review: TITANIC is just that. Despite the commonly accepted belief that the film appeals only to the 12-14 year old DiCaprio obsessed teens, the film will appeal to nearly all. With the exception of DiCaptrio's performance, the movie was wonderfully acted, and the score alone by James Horner ranks the film great. For the romatic, the history buff, or the person easily swayed by public oppinion, Titanic is womderful. The film is loved or hated by all who watch, but dspite your personal reaction, the fact that it evokes such emotion in so many people says it shoul be seen. To the people leaving one to two stars, did you watch the movie expectiong to detest as a backlash to its overwhelming popularity, or did you think deserving of that rating despite the opinions of the public and the film critics who led it to an unltimate 11 Oscars and nearly 2 billion dollars worldwide. Something to ponder.

Summary: A great movie
Review: Titanic was a great movie, not to be missed. It was one of the best movies to hit the big screen, and broke the record for the most expensive movie. All that money made for exciting viewing!

Summary: A fantastic epic of true love at its peak.
Review: Titanic is a fantastic love story about two people from different worlds. Kate Winslet and Leonardo Decappio are exceptional actors and portray the roles of two 'lovebirds' who never want to leave each other. I saw this movie four times in the movie theatre and bought it the first day it came out. You definately want to add this to your collection!

Summary: One of the greatest movies I've ever seen.
Review: This movie is so good that it will make you stay in the edge of your seat. It makes you cry, laugh, and even makes you believe you are a kid again. If you have not seen it yet; go and have a good time watching it('cause it will make fall in love with it).

Summary: Titanic was good, but Gone With The Wind was better.
Review: I am a twenty year old female, and unlike some people I know who went and saw this movie because of a certain guy who was in it, I saw it because of what it was about. I have always been fascinated by the tragedy of the Titanic. I found the film to be very well made. The costumes and sets were my favorite part of the film. I also liked it that they made the character of Rose so strong and so set in her ways. Instead of a typical withdrawn woman, they made her say what was on her mind and do what she wanted instead of what was expected of her. Titanic is not my favorite movie, that title belongs to Gone With The Wind. One other thing, all this talk about Titanic making more money than any other film is overrated. Titanic did make more money, but more people went and saw Gone With The Wind. If the ticket sales from 1939 to the present was calculated in today's prices, Gone With The Wind would be the winner.

Other good movies to see: Gone With The Wind and Titanic with Barbara Stanwyck

Summary: the best movie ever.
Review: TITANIC is the best movie ever. I had a chance to go to the studio where the movie was made. I got to meet people who were in the movie. Go on the sets of TITANIC. I am a big fan of the TITANIC. I am mostly in the real ship. I study it in books, and I got the newspaper from when the TITANIC sunk.

Summary: A magnificent film
Review: When I first saw Titanic on the night of December 27, 1997 (a date I will never forget), I was absolutely swept away by it more than any other film I had ever seen. I could not stop thinking about it and its love story for months. After having seen it a second time at the theatre and having been captivated even more, I was eagerly awaiting the release of this video. I bought it the day of its released.

I have been having a hard time trying to keep myself from pushing the play button and wasting more time when I should be doing my homework. Again, I am completely obsessed with the beauty, heartbreak, elation and tragedy. The love story adds a myth that tries to capture its lost world.

Some of my favourite scenes include Rose's inability to stay on the boat ("You're so stupid, Rose!"), the break up of the ship and subsequent earth-shattering crash to the sea below and that steamy car scene. Also, the water breaking through the overhead windows, of course the kiss at the bow, drawing for a penny or a dime or whatever that is and the final prayer on the deck. It also includes so many devastating touches such as those unforgettable flares that while not working as intended still light Jack and Rose, the ghostly finale walk up the grand staircase, the hauntingly beautiful music and so much more.

I think that all the people amazed by Titanic will be coming back many times. I think that this film deservedly will forever be in the hearts and minds of the millions who were enthralled when it first set sail.

Summary: Titanic is a collectors item for sure!!!!
Review: This movie is sooo good. James Cameroon did an excellent job of recreating the Titanic. I saw it 3 times and I cried everytime. This was a really good movie.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Not as great as I initially thought it was
Review: I saw it first in the movies, and though I didn't particularly care for the love story, I was still moved by the fate of the characters. Then I saw it again on Pay-per-view (we have the video, but it remains unopened), and I was not impressed at all. This movie certainly does not rank as the best of all time and it did not deserve all of those Oscars. I have agreed with previous choices for Oscar winners, but this was ridiculous. I guess you could call it a travesty that such good pictures are made and ignored and drivel (yes, I said it) like this takes home all of the prestigious honors. James Cameron had already proven himself to be an excellent director, but I'm upset that he was recognized by the Academy because of this movie. Not worth it.
