Summary: Don't Even Rent!!!
Review: Chances are you probably rented this movie or are thinking about renting this movie for the same reason I did. Shannon Elizabeth is HOT! But in the end that really doesn't matter because this movie sucks. It has nothing to do with raves and doesn't make any sense at all. Its about people that get high. Whoo hoo.If you want a movie with Shannon in it get American Pie. Its halarious and has the best scene with Shannon. Wink-Wink.

Summary: Expected KIDS but got infants.
Review: I bought this movie based on the cover description only which from this it looked like it may be like KIDS, which is an excellent movie. This movie showed me why Shannon Elizabeth has never played a major role. They actors were a joke. I've seen high school plays better than this. The only reason I gave it two stars is that it had a decent message in it. The movie is about teenagers in a drug and rave filled society, however it took forever to get to this. A young guy who designs clothing takes kids that he finds on the streets and shows them a better life by hiring them to work in his store. This is all because of his childhood and he doesn't want them to go through the things he has. This guys jealous friend shows these kids real drugs and that's when the turning point of the movie happens. If you are dead set on seeing this film, rent it. It's not worth the $3 however.

Summary: not worth viewing
Review: I rented this movie hoping it would be like other rave movies i've enjoyed. Seamless instead felt as though nobody involved had ever been to a rave. I might have laughed, but was more dissappointed that i had spent 4$ renting it. None of the characters were introduced of developed properly, combined with the poor acting and weak plot, the movie's "message" was lost because i really didn't care. I recomend Go, or Groove if you're intersted in a smart, fun, rave movie.

Summary: And the review raves on!!!
Review: I was hoping the rating scale was in dog poops instead of stars so I could give this one 5 poops. I told my girlfriend I would cancel Netflix if she ever got anything like this again. Nothing made sense. Whatever this was about, it sure wasn't about raves, LA, or drug use at all. It was about a guy in a trailer saying random stuff. And sucking on tree sap in his trendy store (with no customers). The DJ's were never on the turntables, no character development, pointless changes in plot, no facts. The only thing good, is now I'm not afraid. Because I know I will never see anything worse.

Summary: wow
Review: my friend and i rented this movie for the sole purpose of there not being anything else available. this is the worst movie i have seen in my life. everything in it was terrible. the message i assume they were trying to get across was the effects of drugs in the teenage/rave environment, but the horrible acting and dialogue just made it soooo hard not to laugh. if you're looking for a movie about the dangers of life as a teenager, look at KIDS. it's sooo much better than this piece of garbage.

Summary: Clueless
Review: So there is this guy named J.B. and I think he owns a clothing store/club in Los Angeles. I say I think because he lives in a trailer in the middle of nowhere, but all the establishing shots are of the L.A skyline. In any case out of this store/club J.B. holds raves by night where he spins the worst music ever and bables his poorly written philosophy on life. By day he sells retro clothing and noblely employs kids he has pulled off the street. Then he hooks up with Shannon Elizabeth, also a local clothing shop owner. So life is pretty good for J.B. Then his mother drops a bomb, he has to fire the street kids. She says, "You can take the kid out of the streets, but you can't take the streets out of the kid." So after this profound awakening J.B fires all the kids, who apparently live in the store. This seems to be a bad move since he doesn't sell another article of clothing after they leave and he is heart broken since they were his "family." As for the kids they make the one cut transition from the store to purse snathers, a prostitute, and a hopeless drug addict. To the rescue comes Zinc, J.B.'s best friend and the resident villian of the picture. Zinc is tired of living in J.B.'s shadow, so the only logical thing to do is to sell drugs to get out of it. He makes what I can only assume(because the film never explains) is ice, which is a form of crystal meth. He seems to be making money, but he gives so much of it away it is hard to see how. And to be certain, he is getting deeper and deeper in to the stereotypes of addiction and in the process taking J.B's family(the homeless kids) with him. This all leads up to another rave where all the tension will lead to a climax of unbelievably predictable proportions.

Um, okay, this is a movie. I guess that is about the best thing I can say about Seamless because it really was one of the worst films I have ever seen. Rather than take it apart though I thought I would just explain how this movie got wide release on video and DVD. It has Shannon Elizabeth in it. That is it and that is all. For the masses that cannot get enough of her here you go. Enjoy it if you can.
