Rating: Summary: Simply the best. Review: "Extremities" has been my favorite film since I first viewed it in 1986. Although there are a number of excellent performers out there, Farrah Fawcett's portrayal of Marjorie; an attempted rape victim who turns the tables on her attacker, is the best on film. Her excellent two note performance evenly weighs both the victim and victor perfectly. If you have never seen this movie or even if you just haven't seen it on DVD--don't miss out. It originally was produced on the New York stage & it was so real they had to have guards on hand to prevent people from jumping on stage to help Farrah. As the title of this article states--simply the best.

Rating: Summary: Gripping Drama Review: Both Farrah Fawcett and James Russo are believable characters in this intense film, and both give memorable performances. The scenes of physical violence are not for the squeamish. I found them to be excessive. The suspense is gripping at times. A very intense film. I would have rated it 4-stars except for the graphic violence, which is central to the story.
Rating: Summary: Eye love this movie. Review: Eye love they put out equal term for this movie
Rating: Summary: Breathtaking Review: Farrah Fawcett and James Russo are outstanding for the characters they portray. The movie description: James Russo is a serial rapist and Farrah Fawcett plays the victim who manages to escape her would be (masked) rapist in the beggining of the movie. However, he still has her purse carrying her personal information and address. Marjorie goes to the police to report her attempted rape and the police inform her "it would be hard to press charges on an unknown assailant" Basically James Russo returns a week or so later back into Marjorie's life at her home to finish what he started. (now he is unmasked, and enters her home). The scenes are brutal: however if you manage to stomach Farrah Fawcett being attacked mentally, and physically you will then witness how she manages to turn the tables on her would be rapist. After the tables are turned though the movie starts to slow down and We wonder what will be the outcome? What will she do with her would be rapist.. Turn him over to the police who he says will let him go since she (yet again) has no proof of sexual assault? Or burry him alive in the back yard? I reccomend this film, but definitely not for children!! Also, the co-stars in this movie make the most of their small roles!!

Rating: Summary: Great movie Review: I like this movie, the acting is great she (Farrah Fawcitt) is great at making her voice tremble when she's scared and so on. When I saw the half ending on tv recently, I didn't know the name of this movie, so when the credits came on, I remembered the name Farrah Fawcitt. (I only heard of her once before but didn't know what she looked like or who she was before this movie). So I came onto amazon.com and typed in her name and was able to find this movie by reading the reviews. A few weeks later, I saw the movie on tv again but more of the beginning as well. I think it's funny how once the tables are turned and she's in control, how she was prodding him with the fireplace's metal rod that is used for pushing hot logs . He didn't like that too much. I'm going to buy it online here because I want to see the first 15 minutes that I missed, and this movie is a really good movie from what I saw already. I also hope to see other movies that Farrah Fawcitt does because she is talented with her acting and probably has done some other great movies as well!
Rating: Summary: Good Stuff Review: I saw the movie when it aired on the Superstation about 3 years ago and to this day I have been searching for it. I must admit at the time I saw it I was only 13 years old but it helped me understand womens issues. Its good that women can take control of a situation which initially they had no control over. Graphic but excellent film.
Rating: Summary: Great Movie, Despite Extensive Editing Review: The crux of this film, the episode wherein the rape victim (Farrah Fawcett) turns the tables on her assailant and imprisons/abuses him, was actually a fictional extension of a real-life occurrence involving the attorney general of a small southern state. The real-life occurrence was portrayed herein conceptually, altering the true circumstances (campaign meeting, encounter in hotel room) but preserving the brutality. Several scenes were cut, the fear being that the presentation would simply be too repulsive for viewers to stomach. One of these was the scene where, immediately after assault, the victim emerges with a bloody lip from where the attacker butted her with his head -- and the man coldly said to her, "You better get some ice on that." It was feared that viewers would be too sickened, seeing such a thing, though as it turns out (per a national survey conducted November 2000) that about half the folks in the nation have no problem whatever with that sort of behavior. The film's ending pretty much reflects the same outcome as the real-life episode, and one can only imagine the poor victim's feelings about that. The real message is that any man who would do this sort of thing is vile, evil and horrible, and fully deserves to be locked away for the rest of his life -- even though that simply doesn't happen often enough. Rapists continually thumb their noses at the system, in effect saying to all of us, "You better get some ice on that."
Rating: Summary: Farrah Fawcett at her best Review: When Playboy's video "Farrah Fawcett - All of Me" was released in 1997, a reviewer wrote, "if your interest is to see her in the nude, it's better just to get yourself a rated R movie". Another reviewer wrote, "she's much sexier in anything other than this video." Both were right. "Extremities" was an R-rated movie, and Farrah, while not in the buff, was sexy as hell (she was thirty-nine when it was filmed, while "All of Me" marked her fiftieth birthday). Better yet, her strong and believable performance made "Extremities" a surprisingly good thriller. With this movie, she really put the Charlie's Angels era behind her.
