Review: This DVD consists of a string of 23 short black & white "films". Each is from an archive of early 1900's French erotica.The films consist of a mixture of hard and soft vintage pornography which the usual themes not unfamiliar in this genre today though don't expect to see Pamela Anderson's grandmother, these folks are no oil paintings! Certainly worth a look but don't spend too much for the pleasure.

Summary: Badly made DVD
Review: This DVD is VERY poorly put together, and the "product" is not erotic at all. There is NO interface - just "play" - not even chapter stops. Since the silent films are french the cards that describe the "stories" are in french - but there is no option for subtitles (if you cannot read french very quickly, you are out of luck). The music sounds like they recorded it from a merry-go-round - not erotic or appropriate. The films are shown at the wrong speed (so they have the "speeded up" effect common in poor transfers of silent films - not so much a problem in comedies, terrible with this material). The "films" mostly appear to be tiny snippets of the actual film - many so short you cannot figure out what is happening before it ends. The quality of the source material is also terrible quality, but that may be expected due to the age of the film - but the vast majority of it is so bad it should never have been made into this film. There is a reason the photo on the cover is not from the film - there is not a single frame of this DVD that would repulse the vast majority of potential buyers.

Summary: Most enjoyable 1930's Porn
Review: This DVD... made me think back to the early days of porn. And it made me greatful, because without these early pornos we would not have the most sensual and excellents pornos we have today. It is truely a wonderful asset to add to any porn collectors "stash". This may not be the best porn, but I do believe you can watch this and be strongly aroused and that is a good thing. Have fun with this vintage classic!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: Well, here it is. Amazon's first XXX video. It may be listed as simply "Erotica", but it includes full XXX pornography. I'm amazed that this is marketed at so many mainstream stores because if they watched it, they would probably pull it from the shelves. EVERYTHING is shown throughout this video. Full nudity, oral contact, explicit penetration, climax shots, and most anything else that you'd imagine. Mind you, I'm not complaining, just a bit surprised. This video is a collection of 23 short films from the 1920's and 1930's and the entire video is almost 2 hours long. The only audio is a soundtrack of music set to the short films. The first few films are tame and simply show nudity, but then things start getting explicit. Although the women aren't always the best looking (some are though) and the film quality leaves something to be desired (what do you expect from the 20's and 30's?), I found these videos to actually become quite a turn-on. If you like classic films of erotica from the early days of movies, then this video is definitely for you! Just so you know ahead of time, there are 2 scenes where there is some man to man homosexual activity. Otherwise all of the other scenes are straight or woman to woman. I enjoyed this video and if you are into this type of production, you probably will also. Happy viewing! PS - For your sake, I hope you don't spot your grandparents in any of these videos...HA!
