Summary: I THOUGHT IT WAS PRETTY DUMB..
Review: HERE YOU HAVE 4 HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WHO PRACTICE WITCHCRAFT. SOUNDS GOOD, BUT THE MOVIE DOESN'T LIVE UP.

YOU HAVE 3 GIRLS WHO START THEIR OWN GROUP BUT THEY NEED A FOURTH GIRL TO BRING THEIR POWERS TO THEIR GREATEST. YOU KNOW, EARTH, FIRE, WATER AND AIR. THEY GET THE 4TH GIRL, AND THEN THEIRS LIKE A BIG POWER STRUGGLE BETWEEN HER AND THE "LEADER" OF THE GROUP. THE ENDING IS OKAY, AND THE POWER STRUGGLES BETWEEN THESE 2 GO FOR PRETTY GOOD SPECIAL EFFECTS. I THINK THE STORY SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THESE FOUR GIRLS ARE EXCELLENT ACTRESSES THEY JUST NEEDED SOMETHING BETTER FOR THEM TO GIVE THEIR GREATEST.

Summary: SpellBounded
Review: This movie was the best. I love witchcraft and wicca alone. The whole thing is amazing. This movie shows a moral of don't take things for granted. I have to say that this movie was as comedical as it was horrific. It's like Buffy meets Dawson Creek. I would advise that this movie should be for people 13 and older. There are some really graphical parts in the movie. The witchcraft is so real. If you beleive in magic you have got to see this movie.

Summary: AWESOME
Review: usually witch movies are badly writing and one i saw can be classified as chick flick this along with the "warlock" series are the exceptions it first starts off nacie bonnie and rashel are lighting candles incense and are chanting (what a wonderful way to start off a witch movie)anyway begining credits roll. the story goes sarah a newbe at a town (which you strangly never here the name of) and has her first day at school where she runs into three girls who she later finds out that they are witches and sarah makes friends with them and becomes a witch herself. anyway don't want to ruin the movie but this is definity money well spent

Summary: Silly and fun--90210 with spells
Review: This is *not* a movie to be taken seriously, but it *was* fun. Four "freaks" band together to perform spells, and when they're successful, they get back at the jerks at school. If you merged "Heathers" with the early episodes of "90210" and added a dollop of the "Witches of Eastwick" this is what you'd get.

Young kids might take some of this more seriously than it should be taken, and teen girls mired in angst will likely watch it over and over.

Summary: can moveies get any better than this?
Review: this is my all time favorite movie, mainly because i am a white witch myself. i love magic and all that stuff and this movie is great caz it doens't show wicca in a bad light or anything. just good witchy fun and i advise anyone with intrest in whitch craft to see it.

Summary: Not exactly "magic"
Review: This movie had a strong story line; it could've been good.

But sadly its focus on darkness and death kept that from happening. It put true magick -the Craft- in a very bad light, in my view. And the ending showed the only really likable character (Sarha) turning dark & vengeful.

True Wiccans will not be happy with this director's portrayal of their religion.

Summary: BEWARE OF THE OLD DVD
Review: I JUST RENTED THE FIRST RELEASE OF THE CRAFT NOTHING ON IT, THERE'S SUPPOSE TO AT LEAST BE A TRAILER FOR THE FILM. MAKE SURE YOU GOT THE NEW VERSION THAT'S SHOWN.

Summary: This was my coming of age film in school
Review: By the time I reached the summer of my Junior year, I was disillusioned beyond belief at the snobby behavior of many of my classmates, and needed a break. Aside from the wonderfull tunes of Courtney Love, this was the only thing that kept me going outside of my parents and friends. I craved recognition from the mainstream society that it was okay to be different and received it through this film.

First off, I loved Robin Tumey's character in the film. Sarah thinks her life is a mess and it seems like it only gets worse until she discovers this outcast clique. They have fun until the leader lets power go to her head and the followers get their just deserts in the end. High school is never an easy time for students that break the mold, and this film's eloquence (it actually has a lot of plot) expresses that well.

Additionally, this film reminds the target audience that it is alright for women to have worldly power provided that they do not try to destroy other women with it. While this is not explicitly labeled as feminist, one can detect a lot of the same rhetoric in works by Gloria Steinem, Robin Morgan and many other writers of the women's liberation movement.

Summary: A good but scary Movie!
Review: I first saw this in The theathers with my mom and dad at the age of 5 and I remember the plot of the story. When 4 witches create Havco in their school they befriend a new girl Robin Turnny Sarha in which she wants to be the popular kid until she falls into the bad crowd. The movie could have showed more power to the plot and the concolsion!Never fool MOTHER-NATURE!

Summary: Not to be taken Seriously, but lots of Fun! Great Sp.Effects
Review: This is, quite possibly, one of the goofiest portrayals of Witchcraft I have ever seen (and I live with a Witch). However, despite the fact that there is not one accurate reference to "The Craft" in this movie, it has inspired an amazing number of young girls to seek Literature about the subject and has broken-down a lot of the silly barriers to discussing the subject. Anyone who takes this movie seriously may need counseling, but it is great fun! The characters are perfect for their parts and I must admit this is a very...um, "visually pleasing" film. I really enjoyed The Craft and I know countless young women who have been affected by the film. However, one must keep in mind: This is JUST a movie & Hollywood's version of Witchcraft. If they were really like that I would not be living with one! Anyway, have fun and enjoy the mythical adventures of these teen "Witches," then buy some books to comprehend the reality of Witchcraft.
