Summary: The piano Lesson
Review: The movie was a little boring, but not all the way. There were some parts that I liked. It was a little hard for me to understand. It would be a better movie for an older person to watch.

Summary: The Piano Lesson
Review: The Piano Lesson is a good book. My favorie character is Berenice. She is a good woman. There is piano in her house. Her brother Boy Willie wants that piano. Berenice wants to keep the piano. I Berenice because, she is a strong woman. She wanted to keep the piano because didn't want Sutter's ghost in the house. But when Berenice finally played the piano, Sutter's ghost went away. Boy Willie and his friend, Lyman went back home. I guess Boy Willie didn't want the piano anymore.

Summary: REALISTIC ADAPTATION OF AFRO-AMERICAN CULTUREtHE
Review: The Piano Lesson was viewed by our adult education class for the interpersonal communication methods we were studying about. We were to watch for the colors used in the movie, the relationships between the players, any culture traits, superstitions, etc. The class will be writing papers this week on the value of the movie. I enjoyed the jargon and dialogue between the men and Boerniece. The piano represented more than a musical instrument. Boy Willie came around to appreciating the heritage of the carvings on the piano. Whining Boy was the "black sheep" of the family, as most of us all have one.

Summary: Dutton illuminates August Wilson's remarkable story.
Review: This is a first class adaptation of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, which also starred Charles Dutton. Dutton transforms his on-stage energy into on-screen intensity without any lingering "staginess." August Wilson has created a perfectly balanced dilemma, which is faced by the descendants of slaves, shedding light on the difficulties in choosing between heritage and material success. The Piano Lesson is about African Americans, but it's message is much broader, and concerns choices faced by most Americans, whatever their heritage.

Summary: THE PIANO LESSON
Review: THIS MOVIE IS A VERY INTERESTING MOVIE, AND CONNECTS CULTURE AND FAMILY HISTORY INTO THE STORY LINE. IT SHOWS FACTS AS WELL AS SOME FICTION ABOUT THIS TIME PERIOD. THE STORY IS ABOUT AN OLD PIANO AND THE BACKGROUND OF THIS IMPORTANT PIECE OF BLACK HISTORY. THE ADDITION OF THE GHOST ADDED INTEREST AND EXITEMENT. I LIKED THIS MOVIE, AND IT IMFORMED ME OF THE BACKGROUDS OF SOME SLAVES.

Summary: The Piano Lesson
Review: This movie was a good movie. Boywilly and his pal Lyman went to Boywilly's sisters house to get a piano from her. The only problem is that she doesn't want to sell it. She blames Boywilly for her husbands death and never plays the piano. The original owners (sutter) ghost is looming around the house and has Berenice scared to death. Youll have to watch it to find out the rest of the story...

He wanted the Piano to sell that was in the family for years. He just wanted the money to buy some land. But his sister Berneice wasn't having that. To get rid of the ghost hauntimg the piano you'll have to watch and see!!!
