Summary: First of all...I really liked it!
Review: First of all...I really liked it! Only in the late 90's can you create a movie about two stalkers who have such audience appeal that you are hoping they both succeed in the end. Matthew Broderick and Meg Ryan are excellent as jilted lovers who through a strange twist of fate come together to literally "stalk" their former partners.

Now this film is not a "how to" movie, but if you wanted to be a funny stalker, then check out some of the things that these two pulled off in an attempt to get even. Now I didn't look too closely at the credits to see if the screenplay was written by a former member of President Richard Nixon's 72' campaign, but the "dirty tricks" they pull off would even impress him. I won't give you any more details except to say that I loved the park encounter scene with Tcheky Karyo and his follow-up explanation to Kelly Preston...one of the funniest scenes you will ever see.

If you are wondering how do you keep a movie like this going for two hours...well don't worry, they do it and you are glad they did. It is definitely one of the funnier films this year....and in a weird sort of way provides all those persons who have ever been jilted unfairly...a fair way of getting even. Bottom line....go for it...you won't "stalk" out of this one disappointed.

Summary: I love Val Kilmer!
Review: I watched this movie in a plane. I had started to be bored without anything to do and when this movie started, I was not so excited. I just started to watch it to kill the boring time. Then, I found myself got into it so much and was really impressed by the acting of Val Kilmer. It must be very difficult to act as a blind person, but he did a very good job. My one criticism is to the actress. She was cute and tried hard, but I wanted to feel from her something more substantial. I felt she was not using her energy completely yet. As a result, this heroine looked for me a simple, princess type of woman, who really did not have passion to make things work out between them when they had problems. Since I felt Val Kilmer's acting was very strong and energetic, her, kind of prissy acting looked to have made the entire atmospher of this movie a bit less substantial (or should I say "made it a fancy"?). I am sorry but I am not a native English speaker and don't know how to say some of the things in English in a way I really want to say. I hope the readers of this review will get a main idea of mine!

Summary: A great movie!
Review: This was a really moving performance by both Kilmer and Sorvino. Makes you think what it would be like to go through life and never see the ones you care about. Highly reccomended!

Summary: Sweet and realistic ...
Review: I rented the video over Christmas and I must admit that, initially, I was quite reluctant to watch it, since I expected it to be just another of those disappointing pictures which usually depict a rather unrealistic stereotype of blindness. However, holding a degree in special education of the visually impaired and having worked with blind and partially sighted people for years, I decided to give it a chance, and I'm so glad I did! I was swept away by Kilmer's outstanding performance - I've never seen a sighted actor portray a blind person so convincingly. He seems to have spent a considerable amount of time researching his role very carefully and succeeds in imitating "typical" mannerisms a visually impaired person may develop very accurately. Thank you, Val Kilmer, for putting so much effort into this role. Excellent work!

Summary: You have got to be kidding me
Review: Ten minutes into this movie I was fast forwarding to see how it ended, it was boring and unimaginitive all the way through.

Summary: deeply emotionnal
Review: Walking into the filming while on vacations in NYC, I decided to get that movie in english. Just to have a souvenir. what an awesome surprise to watch such a movie! It was not only watching, it was... feeling the play of Mira Sorvino and Val Kilmer. Were they the only ones to be able to play the story in the whole world? It seems to, as they are just perfect and I believe Winkler did a great job directing them. Actors goes through so many emotions in a wonderful way. Comes from the heart and sure goes right to the heart.Make sure you don't miss it. WAOW!

Summary: See What You See
Review: I've seen this movie five times and every time I watch it, I find something I like about it even more. Last night I watched it and cried through the whole thing. (And a little after) It really makes me feel thankful for what I have in life. If you've never watched it before, I'd recomend you to watch it and just "see what you see".

Summary: Superb as usual!!!
Review: What else is there to say? Val and Mira are magical! Val has the fantastic ability to become the role he is playing, while at the same time, bringing out the best in those who are lucky enough to act opposite him. From the very beginning he had me convinced that he WAS blind! Touching and poinient, tugs at the heart-strings. A definite "must see", and a definite "must have" for any video collection, especially a "Kilmer" collection. Rock on Val! Keep doing what you do best! You are the ultimate, misunderstood "Master Thespian"!!
