Summary: Leelee Sobieski
Review: The only reason I loved this movie because Leelee Sobieski is so damn hot in it! I've never seen her this hot in a movie before.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Surprisingly poor
Review: At a glance, this film would appear to have a nice Hitchcockian plot, filled with suspense and doubt. However, even the intial setup winds up being clunky and nonsensical, while the rest of the film see-saws between laughably ridiculous and painfully dull. Though Leelee Sobieski, Stellan Skaarsgard, and Diane Lane all have given wonderful performances in other films, each of them falls flat in this one, which is to be expected, given how little they had to work with by way of plot and direction. Seek out their other works, and avoid "The Glass House" like the plague.

Summary: Worst of 2001
Review: I agree with the reviewer who said it was the worst movie of the year because it was. The movie was predictable and suffered from poor acting all around...or maybe it was just poor direction. It wasn't suspenseful or thrilling. It was just bad.

Summary: THE GLASS HOUSE
Review: 16 year old Ruby and her 11 year old brother's parents die in a mysterious cara accident. their parents long time friends, Mr. and Mrs. Glass, take the kids in as their own and become their legal guardians. The Glasse's house and the Glasses themselves seem great at first glance, but suddenly strange occurences begin to happen and Ruby begins to uncover the horrible truth behind the Glasses and the deaths of her parents. The truth lies deep in the glass house.

This is a first rate thriller, I must say. It is jam packed with suspence and interesting twists that glue your eyeballs to the screen. All the actors give great performances, especially the young and lovely LeeLee Sobieski as the troubled Ruby. The film does not rely on the gore and blood but more on the situation istelf and the jolting suspence which is a nice change from alot the thrillers now a days. So just sit back and get ready to walk in "The Glass House"!

Overall: A first rate thriller that fully relies on the suspence and not the gore!

Grade: A+

Summary: Worst Movie I've Seen this year
Review: I've seen a lot of movies in the theater this year, but this one was by far the worst. I came expecting a thriller, but it was more like I was going to fall asleep. The trailer is totally misleading, it looks all suspenseful. It's stupid, boring and I couldn't wait to get out of it. My butt ached the whole time and I got up to get food or to the bathroom a million times, because I wasn't afraid to miss anything.

Summary: Movie was OK, Main lead was.... well not so OK
Review: The movie was OK- the previews described the movie to be so much more than it is, it seemed like a quickly thrown together movie, that really didn't have much suspense, maybe the movie would have been better if they would have cast a better actress for the lead, I mean Leelee Sobieski is OK I guess for a B movie, but if you want to make a movie to have an impression on people you need a stronger more serious person than her, I mean her acting isnt all that bad- but she is cast in all the wrong parts, I mean I just cannot see her as the strong heroine type, sorry Leelee.

Summary: VERY good movie!
Review: Despite the reviews this movie got, The Glass House was very entertaining. It had a lot of creepy and stylish sequences. It just proves that you can really have a scary movie without all of the blood and guts.

The cast (including Leelee Sobieski, Diane Lane, Stellan Skarsgard, Bruce Dern, Rita Wilson, and young Trevor Morgan) is top-notch. The music score by Christopher Young is perfect. Also, the direction and production design were both utterly beautiful, to say the least.

Congrats to the director, cast, and crew for a solid thriller!

Summary: What a load!
Review: This movie was laughable. The story was weak from start to finish and ended absolutley predictable. The film bordered being so stupid you could laugh at it and sucking so bad you wanted might as well spend your time taking a ....
Don't even waste your time with the rental, wait for it on HBO if you have to see it.

Summary: A thriller that doesn't quite "thrill."
Review: I love the actors in this movie! Hands down, you couldn't have picked a better cast. The "glass house" used in the film adds a lot of interesting mood throughout the film but what about all the rain? Does it really rain that much in Malibu? It seemed like it only rains at night strangely enough and then it's bright and sunny the next day like it never rained the night before? Hmmm. I guess I am nitpicking on this one but it simply doesn't hold one genuine candle of suspense throughout the whole film! To start off, Leelee does not even look remotely 16 years old, (she's actually 23), Diane Lane (I can't believe how she has literally never aged!) is a brilliant actress but she's left scraping for crumbs here since her talent is far wasted against Stellan's character. Unfortunately, this movie plays like an afterschool special that ABC decided to air at night-LOL. It's got the dark atmosphere, the creepy incestial sensibilities, the weird familial episodes of drug use and the odd brother sleeping with sister thing, but it just doesn't tie together well. Too many plot holes, too many scenes that don't gel together properly and not enough "realism" to keep the audience interested. Wait for video on this one folks!

Summary: Pretty good!
Review: Wow, I went with 2 of my friends (and another one showed up half way through the movie, lol) to see this movie. We were gonna go and see "Glitter", but it's theater release locations were cut in half. I was very excited to go see it. In the beinning, 'Lee' and her little brother live with their parents. But they get in a really bad accident, and so the kids are sent to live with the Glass' who were nextdoor neighbors of them for a long time. Everything in their house is practically made of glass. Just like Lee says in the film, there's so much stuff to do in it, that you wouldn't even have to leave the house ever. Lee sees the Glass' do weird things, and she suspects things of course. In the end, there's a HUGE showdown, can they escape the Glass house? Wow, 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
