Summary: I hate every characters in this movie
Review: This is the first movie where I hate every character in it, both the good and bad characters. Leelee Sobieski is a bully older sister who has conflict of interest with her younger brother, Trevor. Trevor is a lazy boy who can do nothing other than playing with his Nintendo, even after his parents death. Diane Lane is a physician drug addict. Her husband, Stellan, is a greed who will borrow million of dollars without thinking whether he can pay it back or not. Finally, the two men whom Stellan borrowed money from constantly harassed their clients.
I don't like the story line, either. It doesn't make any sense!
It might be still worth to spend money renting the DVD, just don't buy it!

Summary: Superb Dramatic Thriller
Review: The movie is a wonderful thriller, not a dim witted slasher movie. Thus the movie is well worth watching. The story proceeds nicely with intelligible dangers. It is obvious that the producers avoided dumb slasher contrivances. The movie set ups are very good. And the acting is excellent. In particular the cast was led by Leelee Sobieski, one of the most beautiful and consistently talented actresses on the scene today. I think the negative reviews come from individuals who have become jaded and insensitive to beauty and taste.

Review: When Rudy (Leelee Sobieski) and her bother Rhett (Trevor Morgan) discover, their parents died in a brutal accidental car crash. When Rudy and Rhett are adapted by the Glass (Stellan Skarsgard, Diane Lane) are seeming happy couple. But Rudy discover the dark secerts of the Glass, which also invovled her dead parents.This film has srtong lead performances by Sobieski and Skarsgard. This familiar thriller gives an fine direction by Daniel Sackheim and Written by Wesley Strick (Cape Fear, Wolf). DVD`s has an sharp anamorphic Widescreen (2.35:1) transfer and Pan & Scan also alivable. An good Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. An short commentary track with/without from a Deleted Scene. Well done film. Super 35. Grade:A-.

Summary: Not What I Was Hoping For
Review: If you are looking for a good thriller... this movie is NOT for you. the movie had a poor story line and is hard to follow. there are numerous occasions where LeeLee does something (eg--> saving the number of the man after mr. glass to the phone) and nothing comes of it.. almost like it's just a time filler because they cant think of anything better to put in there. once i watched the trailer again on the dvd i realized how much the trailer gave away the movie. it was almost as if you could watch the trailer other than watching the movie for 2 hours and still get the entire story line of the movie with the little added bits in there. but as a dvd in general, the special features were ok.. not as good as they could have been.. but oh well.

Review: It looks like a chick flick, and it is a little. It was a good story though, well thought out, creepy and even chilling at times. Leelee is a little hottie and Stellan Skarsgard is always a solid actor. 3 1/2 stars actually.

Review: THE GLASS HOUSE is about a girl and her brother and they get adopted by their neighbours because their parents died in a car accident. Leelee Sobieski plays Ruby (that girl) and she's your typical high school student. After Ruby and her brother move in with their new guardians (the Glasses) they start to notice some weird things about them. That's all i'm saying about the plot. THE GLASS HOUSE is suprisingly bland. It offers no suspense, a mediocre storyline, predictable plot -- shall I go on? It was boring OK! It could've been a "made for TV movie" or one that goes straight to video. It should be collecting dust on the shelves soon.

Summary: Great thriller, great DVD!
Review: Ever since I first saw THE GLASS HOUSE at my local cinema, I have grown a new appreciation for suspense movies. I see how everything is important in making the audience scared (the atmosphere, the lighting, the music, etc.). It certainly is an entertaining and scary movie, and now it has a great DVD edition to go with it. Honestly, you couldn't have picked a better cast. As she has proved many times, Leelee Sobieski is one of the best young actresses in the biz. Diane Lane & Stellan Skarsgård are great as the ruthless Glasses. Trevor Morgan is fun as Rhett, Sobieski's brother in the film. There are also several amusing appearances by Bruce Dern, Kathy Baker, Chris Noth, Michael O'Keefe, and Rita Wilson (who, for some reason, is not billed in the credits). Daniel Sackheim (director), Alar Kivilo (d.o.p.), and Christopher Young (composer), as well as the cast & the rest of the creative/productive staff, all worked very hard to make THE GLASS HOUSE an intriguing, suspenseful, and beautifully-made thriller. DVD Special Features: director and writer commentary, deleted scenes, exclusive filmmaker interviews, trailers, filmographies, production notes, and scene selections.

Summary: Glass House
Review: Glass House starts when Ruby and her younger brother's parents die in a car wreck. Ruby and her brother are left with their parents close friends the Glass's. The Glass's seem nice and innocent on the outside but are they really? Ruby starts noticing problems between the Glass's such as arguments and strange things going on. Finally Ruby starts piecing together clues from her parents accident and the danger she and her brother might be in. You'll have to watch to it to find out. Grade: A+
Overall rating: Full of suspense, good actresses and actors. An overall great movie.
