Review: This movie is one of the best films I have ever seen. Everything about this movie is great. The plot is unlike any other movie out there, the performance are all believable and well acted, and the issues that come across it are very meaningful. Movies don't usually have an impact on me, but "School Ties" isn't like any other movie.

Review: This movie is possibly the best I've ever seen. Not only does it feature Brendan Fraser (a total hottie and my favorite actor), it has an actual plot. Though you may have to be smart to get the underlaying spiritual side and the morals, it is still wonderful. The cast is perfect. Brendan is a great actor for the part. You may have to know some history about the Jewish religion, but it's created basically so anyone can enjoy it. I'd buy this movie if I had enough money.

You've got to love Matt and Ben from Boston!!!! Even if they play total jerks! Great movie to watch, great movie to own, I bought mine here at Amazon.com.

Review: This movie is without a doubt, one of the best ones I've seen that displays bigotry with some realism and truth. Brendan Fraser is an exceptional actor and my entire Youth Group loved this film.

Summary: Touching story that makes you think
Review: This movie really makes you think about how to treat people, no matter their religion. There are parts that are really heavy, yet you aren't inundated with sappy, "oh the poor kid" lines. It is a great story about how to maintain self-respect and persevere no matter who tries to keep you down. It also stars some of the BEST looking guys in Hollywood, including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Randall Batinkoff! I own this movie, and watch it at LEAST once a month!

Review: This movie reflected the seriousness of racial discrimination in the US in the 1950¡¦s. It shows the unfairness among different races and the selfishness of people. David was a good man. He did everything with good intention. However, just because he was a Jew, he was discriminated, teased, joked on, and accused of despicable behaviours. On the other hand, Charlie cheated in the exam, tried to put the guilt on David, but was still able to get in Harvard. Nevertheless, I¡¦m glad to see the truth came out at last. Before watching the movie, I did not know how serious was anti-Semitism in the US. I could not imagine people could take their friends as enemies just because of their race, especially the kind of honourable student like David. The movie also made me realise that women can really be a cause of trouble. I would recommend this movie. It¡¦s a good movie for both entertainment and understanding the reality of racial discrimination.

Review: This movie relates very well to life in a high school with such prestige. This movie not only shows the tremendously strong weight of being from the "right" religion, but it also shows many other important things that come to be true of the upper class schools of the east coast. This movie contributes the importance of being a "legacy" of one of these schools and how much harder you have to work if you are not one. If you were really to attend one of these schools, you would notice that popularity and respect revolve around these so called "legacies." The social events in this movie are very similar to the real settings of these schools. The form of education is different, as well as the form of social interaction. You would not see the classes that are shown in this movie at any normal high school anywhere in the United States. This movie really demonstrates life in one of these upper class schools. I could go on forever about how good this movie is as far as being correct but there is more than that. The director managed to portray this image and have an incredible cast as well. If you are looking for great acting/actors, then obviously this movie has it. If you are looking for this movie to maybe show in a classroom then go ahead. This movie will not steer you wrong in any way at all. This movie has it all!

HE CAN PLAY A VERY SERIOUS ROLE, AND PORTRAY THE FEELINGS HIS CHARACTER HAS VERY WELL. Review: This movie was excellent. It had everything that you wanted it to have in it. Matt Damon is really evil, and very much devious in his doings, and the story line itself is touching, and often at times very hurtful. Altogether, though, it was a very good movie that was filled with alot of suspence, and heartfelt drama!!
