Summary: This movie steals your mind, not just the air!
Review: One of the all time best movies for any teen who has ever not had the voice to tell people how he, or she, really feels. On top of a great story, with a powerful story this movie also boasts some of the best music of the eighties and the sound-track is a must have for any one who grew up in the eighties.

Summary: Please see this film!
Review: Slater brings you in to the lives of himself and the people around him. As an insider or outsider of life he brings to the screen the fact that life isn't perfect for anyone. Plus an "undergound" radio man calling himself "Hard Harry" should be enough for anyone!

Summary: One of the best movies ever, a 5-star beauty all the way!
Review: Christian Slater proves himself a genius at adapting the rebel's role in this great movie. I've seen this movie well over fifty times, and each time I see it I relate more and more to what "Hard Harry" is going through. It's a poignant account of adolescent life, and no matter your age, it will touch you somewhere deep down inside. No matter what you hear, take it from me, Pump Up the Volume is a sure-fire winner all the way!

Summary: Another amazing Christian Slater rebel movie!
Review: This movie embodies all the anger and angst of oppressed teens. Although it was made in the 90's, it has the great feel of an 80's cult classic. It's another chance to see Christian w/o a shirt on, which, immature as I may be, still thrills me. It's intelligent, insightful and says more about how teens actually feel than most viewing adults will ever know or remember. Though I've always resented Hollywood's take on the teenager, I give thanks for a movie like this that I can agree with wholeheartedly and entirely enjoy. If it only had some punk in the backround instead of some of that yuckier pre-grunge stuff (excluding the Beastie Boys and a few other pieces of precious rebel music) I would call this movie perfect...
