Summary: A movie about friendship
Review: I have never been on an emotional rollercoaster like the one this movie put me through. One minute I was laughing and the next I was crying. I loved this so much I am buying it for my best friend.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very touching, heart warming movie.
Review: I loved this movie so much. It was like somebody was tugging at my heart strings. I would reccomend it to anybody who would enjoy a good cry.

Summary: One of the Best Movies ever
Review: I am just totally in love with this movie, "The Mighty", I am sad to say that there are not enough movies of this nature out there these days. This movie is unique, fresh, simple, and very touching. It displays with great emotion what it is like to be an outsider and how to overcome this by going back in time to some distant place. Kieran Culkin and Elden Ratliff are superb in their roles; The other acting done by Sharon Stone, Gena Rowlands and Harry Dean Stanton is also fine. I can't say enough good things about this movie: Rent it or buy it today!

Summary: One of the best movies
Review: I think that The Mighty was one of the best movies I have ever seen! It made me cry, and I hardly never cry in movies. I think it was much better than Simon Birch, and I think that it didn't get as much credit it deserves. I agree with Jennifer from IN, Sharon Stone was only in it for this tiny bit of time, and she got so much more credit than Kevin or Max did. It is pathetic. Oh well, c'est la vie.

Summary: BEST movie I've EVER seen in my life!!!
Review: Ok, sorry, enough griping. On to the REAL review. The movie starts out with Max (Elden) giving a monologue about his present life, his grandparents that raise him, and the bullies that pester him. Nothing is going for this kid except reading class and being called Dinosaur Brain. But then he meets Kevin (Kieran). Their relationship starts out slow at first, but after Kevin shows how mighty his brain is, while he teaches Max how to read, it moves into full swing. With Kevin sitting on Max's shoulders, (this being due to a disease that Kevin has called Morquio's syndrome, which limits the use of his legs) becoming Freak the Mighty, they set out to conquer the world. And that means fighting the bullies that torment them, going on mighty quests to help fair maidens, and even helping Max get better grades in school. Everything is going great, until......SORRY! I'm not going to tell you what happens. I refuse to, because I want more people to come and rent (or buy) The Mighty. I recommend it for people of all ages (I really do, ask the people where I work. *Blockbuster* I'm constantly requesting that they rent it.) and I *unless you are an idiot) KNOW that you will enjoy it. And if you come to where I work, and you don't think you'll like it, I might even rent it FOR you :*) FREAK THE MIGHTY!!!!!!

Summary: BEST movie I've EVER seen in my life!!!
Review: When I first saw the previews for this movie back in September 1998, I wanted to see it so bad, and I didn't know a thing about it. I don't know what it was, but something drew me to it. It finally came to Indiana, (it took forever, since Indiana is not a popular place, it stayed in California and places like that for 2 weeks) and I went and saw it. Wow. That's all I could say at the time. It was the only movie that ever made me cry, and it still does, even when I watch it now. MUCH MUCH better than Simon Birch, and if Miramax had gotten their act together, The Mighty could've come out long before it. Elden Henson is a brilliant actor, and I'm sorry that he didn't get more recognition for his acting ability. Sharon Stone is NOT a goddess, ok, Miramax? She was in the movie for less than 20 minutes, and she still got more credit than Elden or Kieran. Sad.

Summary: One of the finest movies I have had the pleasure of viewing
Review: This is a movie to take the kids to and the grandparents as well. As heartwarming and real as anything I have seen. Living near Cincinnati, I was curious as to the locale shots, but most seem to be on the money. The book Freak The Mighty this was taken from is just as interesting and entertaining. One of the few movies to do justice to a book

Summary: I want to tell you how I feel about this movie.
Review: When my teacher told my class that we were going to watch this movie I was like, Great, This is going to ruin the book. I really think it ruined the movie very much because of all the things they changed from the book. It wasn't a bad movie it was just I didn't like all the things they changed. If they wouln't have changed so much stuff, I think it would have been a hell of a better movie. I think it was pretty stupid putting it out at a different time instead of putting it out when it was suppost to.

Summary: The movie was good, the book was better.
Review: I think that the movie, The Mighty, was a good movie, but I thought that the book was better. The movie followed the book pretty good, but a couple of things were to extreme. Like when Kevin takes off in the van and then wrecks it. If that isn't bad enough, then he goes sledding down the hill on the broken bumper of the van.Besides that, I thoght that the movie was good and it tried to stick to what happened in the book. I just don't think they should of added that part. Well, if you liked the movie, you must read the book. Now after reading Freak the Mighty, I plan on reading the sequel to.
