Review: Great classic that will put you in the Christmas spirit. My only wish is that it was in DVD format. I am replacing my best vidoes one by one and it is a shame that a movie like this is not on DVD.

Review: I agree completely with DVD. Why why why hasn't this been released on DVD??????? Clearly, this is the best movie about scrooge ever. Yes the one with Alastair Sim is awesome too, but no other movie captures the true English tale than this one. With one of the best if not THE best musical scores ever. To not put this movie on DVD would be a crime and a terrible waste. I've had the VHS version for more than a decade and playing this movie on Christmas eve with some Eggnog and goodies has become a family tradition. Please please please release it on DVD!!!!!

Review: I think Scrooge(Albert Finney's) is the best version. The makeup, costumes and music are superb. Please have someone make it into a DVD.

Review: I love this movie! I've got on the shelf with all my other Christmas classics! I love the acting, the songs are ones that get stuck in your head, my friends and I will get caught singing the songs dancing the coreography! :) All around this movie is a must see for Christmas.

Review: this is the most wonderful holiday movie that exists! We have watched it each year to kick off the holiday season. It truly captures the essence of Dickens' Christmas Carol. However, we want to purchase this movie in DVD as our VHS copy is beginning to show wear. Do you know when they will release this in DVD format? It truly is a classic that is cherished by our family and has been since it's release.

Review: This is one of the best Christmas movies ever made. We have watched it every year since it first came out. Please please please bring it out on DVD. This is a classic and should certainly be on DVD. There is so much junk on DVD today- old obscure films, etc. What can we do to hurry this along to put it on DVD?.... I would buy it TODAY!!!!!.

Review: I heartily agree with all the 5 star ratings and comments. It's a travesty that this inspiring production is not on DVD. I watch this at least 3 times during the holidays--it is hands down my very favorite holiday movie. I rewind the "Thank you very much" scene several times--wonderful music.So I suppose it's several more rounds with the VHS tape--hope it holds up.

Review: This is the ultimate Dickens Christmas Carol film. Buy it twice as you watch it so much you'll wear the tape out. This comes out every Christmas along with a few other classics. You'll be singing it at work whilst skipping down the corridors. Albert Finney plays the part of Scrooge superbly, the whole film is a joy to watch and truly captures the essence of the novel and the true spirit of Christmas. If you buy any film this lifetime make sure it's this one. Simply delightful.
