Review: This movie explains to us the consequences of being in a gang as you would have found out if you saw the movie for yourself. A tight uplifting film that has a good storyline and some very good moments in it indeed. I would give this movie the BEST OF THE MONTH probably but definitely not the best of the year. Review: I thought this movie was great it was real it wasn't so old made up story trying to impress people. For example Vanilla Ice. but I like the movie when It first came out and I like it now and I will always like It and watch it every chance i get.

Review: Growing up in a bad neighborhood in LA, this movie struck a chord with me. Although I'm white, I still live through hell everyday and this movie couldn't be any more realistic. Singleton lived through this and nobody else could have made it any better. This is how it is in LA, whether you're white, black, hispanic, whatever, you have to watch this movie to understand how it is for the less fortunate of this city, and even then, you probably won't.

Review: Boyz N The Hood is very powerful and dramatic. Singleton does an excellent job with his description of a black youth's troubles. The acting is very accurate of the times. This is one of the best movies of the 1990s and I highly recommend it.
