Summary: theres a ghost in this room! ahhhh! Its Sam Wheat!
Review: ahhhh, Sam (Patrick Swayze) is in here help i hope he killes Willie and Carol i am so happy hell got them. I like this because "No Rita Miller" That was the best part in the movie it RULES! It is about a Spititual Reader (Woppi Goldberg) who has a gift of hearing ghosts. Sam contacts her to warn Molly(Demi Moore) that she will be killed. And Sam went to heaven and Willie and Carol hell.

Summary: Ghost on DVD?
Review: This was one of my most loved favorite movies. I own it on video now and I had it on LaserDisc. I wonder why it takes forever for certain movies to come out on DVD. Dosen't everyone know that LaserDiscs are out and DVD's are in? I would really love this movie on DVD. It's already out on DVD in Hong Kong what's wrong with us in USA? This is the best COMEDY movie that Whoopi Goldberg was in that made me laugh from begining to end. Hope to see it on DVD soon!

Summary: First Date Movie
Review: I saw this movie on a first date 10 years ago. I had no idea that the movie was going to wind up changing the way I looked at life, death and relationships. As contrived as some people found it, I thought it to be poignant and heartwrenching. I have been very careful in my relationships with loved ones to be sure and tell them, "I Love You", because as this movie pointed out... You truly never know when the one you love will be yanked mercilessly away from you. Most of us will never get a second chance to utter those words once our loved one is gone.... But OH!! Imagine if we did? I think that is why this movie did so well. It touched on raw human emotion and basic human need. It will remain one of my all time favorites. A bittersweet film that to this day can make me weep.

Summary: A Spiritual Love Story
Review: One of the greatest love stories ever created in a movie. It's an unusual love story that contains metaphysical elements giving the experience of eternity.

Summary: WHOOPI AND DEMI AND DIRECTOR MAKE IT WORK
Review: Ten years can be a long time, and in the case of this movie, it can be a very long time. Although the uncanny romance-science fiction-suspense-horror mix is smooth and consistent, there are certain depressing drawbacks: a few occasions of racial stereotyping and a lost opportunity for a great sequence: when Swayze "returns" through Goldberg's body, instead of allowing both women to kiss, and engage the audience, the movie makers present Swayze seemingly in the flesh, not even superimposed. It was '90, what was the problem? Ultimately, the fine ACTING of Whoopi and Demi make it %100 worthwhile.

Summary: WHOOPI IS THE MOVIE!
Review: The first thing that pops into my head when I hear the title of this movie is Whoopi Goldberg and her great comedic performance as Oda Mae Brown, the phony spiritualist who's not so phony after all. As a love story it's okay, but not anything special. Demi Moore is adequate in her role, but Patrick Swayze couldn't put a look of real emotion on his face no matter how incredibly hard he tries, AND BELIEVE ME, HE TRIES AND TRIES AND TRIES AND TRIES AND TRIES... well, you get the idea. Whoopi won a well-deserved Oscar for this film and she's the one reason to watch it.

Summary: Great Movie! , but where is the DVD?
Review: I absolutley love this movie. Whoppi Goldberg does a wonderful job in this movie and keeps the movie funny while Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze make this movie a very romantic moving movie. I just don't understand why Paramount has not decided to release a DVD version of this film. I will give this movie for the full five starts because I never penalize a movie for not having a DVD, I anaylze as a movie on the whole. Paramount please release this on DVD!

Summary: The Second Most Over-Rated film in history
Review: The first being Titanic. Ghost also suffers from a lapse in logic from an under-done script and very second rate acting that comes from Swayze, Moore, and Goldberg. The jokes in the film also fall flat and the only brief scence that is remotely funny is made by Arsenio Hall.

Summary: Ghostly Justice
Review: Special effects are good for their time, and the story is solid. An evil rival kills Swayze and wants to bed his girl, to boot. But Swayze assumes a ghostly form and spends some time practicing his new ghostly skills in the subway, whereupon he causes the brutal deaths of his rival and the hired assassin. Then Whoopi Goldberg is possessed by Swayze's ghost, kisses Demi Moore, and the ghost departs for good into the region of light. I know. But when you watch it for the first time, it's captivating and touching. If you have never seen this movie, get it now.

Summary: One of my all time favorite movies
Review: A truly romantic movie. I have probably watched this movie 50 times and I never get bored with it. Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze and Whoopi give an excellent performance. The script was beautifully written and the music was perfect. I absolutely love Whoopi's attitude toward Patrick Swayze. If you haven't seen this movie, you really need to get to your nearest video store and rent it. I've been wondering why this hasn't been released on DVD yet....I would love to add it to my collection....hint hint. :)
