Summary: The greatest film I have ever seen!!!!!
Review: This film had everything from brilliant acting to gore and nudity. Al Pacino did an excellent job of portraying the devil and Reeves was the best man for the lawyer. Together they made the movie come alive and I have watched this film over and over and I still can't get enough. The ending is one you don't forget!!!

Summary: "Never let 'em see ya commin' ;) "
Review: Devil's Advocate is a great movie that really makes you think about the obvious and not so obvious ways in which the Devil works whether you're religious or not. Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves give great performances with a um... hell of a twist at the end.

Summary: The Devil's Advocate is just intolerably awful.
Review: The Devil's Advocate is easily one of the worst films I've ever seen. You might even think that the devil played some role in producing a film as horrible as this one. How the same actor who conquered such roles as in the Godfather, Serpico, and Dog-Day Afternoon (Al Pacino) could stoop to the level of being in this movie is nearly unfathomable. The acting, Keanu Reaves, et al., is about as poor as I've seen. The directing was about par but certainly nothing to brag about. Movies don't get much more predictable than this one. I prefer movies that require some bit of active thinking from the viewer, but if you're one of those people that's into NASCAR, wrestling, or television evangelists, this movie's definitely a must-see. Usually, movies can be easily categorized--I should leave a comedy laughing, a drama wondering, or a tragedy upset. Though this movie was listed as "suspense" at the local video store, there's absolutely nothing suspenseful about it unless you count the suspense I felt in waiting for something to actually happen in the movie. I've got news for you-nothing happened. Instead, this movie should have been in a completely different section labeled, "Mind-numbing films that leave you wanting to get even with the people that recommended them to you," with Batman Forever, Ishtar, the English Patient, Navy SEAL's, and pretty much everything that Leonardo Dicaprio has ever been in. My recommendation: just sleep for two hours rather than see this movie; you'd get a lot more out of it. You wouldn't have to worry about rewinding, and you wouldn't feel like a complete chump.

Summary: This movie is great. It enters the soul and never leaves.
Review: This movie deserves way more credit than it's getting. It's reality and it really makes you as the viewer think. Every time I watch it something new is brought to my attention. And yes, "Vanity, definitely my favorite sin."

Summary: Laughable, but not in a good way.
Review: One of the worst movies to slither out of Hollywood this decade. Silly, predictable trash. Keanu Reeves is unable to make me believe he can spell 'lawyer', much less be one. Poor silly stupid Keanu, he looks like he knows how inept he is but has no idea of what to do about it. Al Pacino goes wildly over the top, because, well, he has to do something to keep audiences awake. There really are better movies out there. Buy another one. Avoid this one.

Summary: Comes closer to real life than one actually thinks
Review: Free will and the existence of Satan go hand in hand in this work of fiction that seems closer to real life than any of us would care to admit!

Summary: The Essential No-brainer for all the Half-wits out there
Review: I've never reviewed on amazon before, but when I saw that this movie had 5 stars, I knew it was time. If you're just a complete moron and love movies that anybody with any intelligence would find trite, you're in luck. This is easily one of the most predictable movies I've ever seen. And the acting is truly a masterpiece. Keanu Reeves. . .I didn't think that it was possible to top Speed. And, boy, has Al Pacino hit upon hard luck. What happened to the great actor we knew and loved in the Godfather and Dog Day Afternoon? Who else have we got? Well, we've got the guy who played the principal in Ferris Bueller as the Devil's right-hand man. And we've got the girl from Mighty Joe Young as Keanu's wife. Just an all-star cast. But if you do see it, see it for the plot.

Summary: OnOf The Five Greatest Films I Have Ever Seen!
Review: Al Pacino is the man. He does a perfect job in any role he is given and does the best Satan ever. This movie had some of the best cinematography, acting and writing that I have seen in years. It's completely unpredictable too. In most movies you can guss how everything would turn out right from the get go, but Devil's Advocate keeps riveted, and guessing until the end. A must see for any movie enthusiast!

Summary: Scary and Stunning
Review: This movie was very good I thought. The way Al played the Devil and the speach he made about god was just awsome. This movie deserves a lot of respect.
