Summary: Damn Good Movie
Review: This is one of the best movies I have seen in my life! I have "Tales of the City" on tape & I enjoyed Further Tales of the City even better (especially on DVD)! It took a moment to get used to the new actors & the new style of the movie, but it was great! The new actors breathe hole new life in the character! I loved the new Brian & Mouse...It took me awhile to get used to the new Mona, but now I love her! She gave Mona a new edge (not so flighty & more take charge)! I think that "More Tales of the City" are great! I can't wait for more! It leaves you craving for anything more. THIS MOVIE IS GREAT (if you have seen "Tales of the City", YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS! )

Summary: The best movie series in a long time
Review: This movie is one of the best I have ever seen. My partner and I sat and watched all six episodes back to back. Could hardly break away for popcorn. Looking forward to Tales of the City on DVD to complete the collection! Also would love to see Further Tales of the City on DVD. I would purchase Showtime just to watch the Further Tales.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Recycled melodrama from daytime soap operas!
Review: Watching More tales from the city on DVD was like watching a good sopa opera on t.v., except this has swearing and nudity (male and female). The quality of the DVD transfer is great, excellent quality. Haven't ever read the books that these episodes were based on and did not know what to expect, overall is was enjoyable watching the lives of these group of weird people living in the same building in San Francisco. But it definitely borders on a soap opera, but in a Fassbinder kind of way. Recycled stories (that are intertwined) given new life, by a somewhat mediocore cast.
