Summary: This is a classic 80's movie with tons of great dancin
Review: If you like Fame or Footlose or Fast Forward then you'll love Flashdance. It's a great sunday afternoon movie with all the corny twists of an 80's movie. Definitely a chick flick.

Summary: This movie is great! Everyone should see it. Inspirational!!
Review: As a little kid, I was inspired by this movie. It has music and funk. To sum it up in one word--GREAT! Any dancer would enjoy this film. It shows that she had to work hard and get up the courage to go to the audition. I don't think that I could've went! A lot of people drag about it's plot. I don't think that the plot is that important. Only guys want a good plot so they can follow the movie! But for real, watch the movie and see for yourself.

Summary: A whole new aproach to electric arc welding
Review: The fabulous image of Jennifer Beals is etched like an arc-eye coloured blob on my retina. I shall forever be in awe of such skill as a dancer whenever I pick up my welding torch. I forbade my children (9&7)both dancers & gymnasts to watch it because of the age category chosen by the censors- a pity for the the film would appeal to many young achievers. The scenery is superb and it really puts the honourable craft of welding on the map. I, however get blobs of hot metal in my boots and get incredibly filthy. I would recommend this film to young people because it promotes the rapidy dissappearing and underrated value of co-ordinating skills of hand, eye, body and sound in an over academic and material orientated world. Summary: It gets better every time I watch it.
Review: It is pretty special for a movie to last this well and to get better with each viewing. The music from the 80s is great. The plot is an inspiration.

The next time you watch it, enjoy the work of the cinematographer in composing the scenes and lighting them. I appreciated the decision to set the movie in Pittsburgh, and then making sure that the city plays a starring role.

Bravo.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: This is a fantastic movie. The dancing is great, and Jennifer Beals does an incredible job. She is both beautiful and convincing in this role. When I was in Pittsburgh a few years ago, I actually saw a few of the places where this movie was filmed. This was one of the best movies of the 80's!

Summary: Take Your Passion and Make it Happen
Review: Words can't describe how much I love this film. This was the film that made me want to become a dancer. I love the opening dance scene and I've always wanted to re-create it. Jennifer Beals is a great actress and it's hard to believe that she was only 18 years old when this film was made. Michael Nouri is great as well. This film also has an incredible soundtrack and the title song is one of my favorites. The story is one that any dancer can relate to. Before I go to an audition I always try to watch the end scene in this film or listen to the song "What a Feeling." I absolutely adore this film and I hope that many young dancers will enjoy it too.

Summary: VERY REALISTIC AND A REAL EYE-OPENER
Review: CREATES A REALISM IN HOW OUR YOUTH HANDLES LIFES CHALLENGES. THEIR GOALS AND DREAMS CAN BE TAKEN AWAY BUT EASILY GIVEN BACK. A PHENOMENAL PORTRAYAL OF TODAYS HARDSHIPS.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Overall good movie
Review: I've seen this movie many times, even once in French. The dancing & music are great. The story is little slow but women love it that way.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Sucky.
Review: The dancing is great, but the movie drags
