Summary: This is a real life movie that everyone should see!!
Review: I can't think of a better movie that had so much feeling and was realistic. It wasn't one of those movis where you end up saying "That only happens in the movies". I can't stopp watching it. There isn't a movie that I can think of that should have gotten the award for best picture and actor besides this movie. Jack hasn't stopped there either. He was just in another movie where he got best actor, As Good As It Gets, an absolute must see movie. Jack, I think, is the best actor of his time. I can't wait for his next movie. He is getting old but I know that he won't stopp there.

Summary: Extraordinary Acting Performance by Jack Nicholson
Review: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is the best movie I ever saw in my life. Jack Nicholson's acting is superb! The dialogues are riveting and the movie is directed with precision and excellence by Milos Forman. Many people I talked to about this movie, seem to really like Mr. Nicholson's plain-speaking and passionate speaking style and facial gestures. One feels invigorated after seeing Mr. Nicholson's brilliant performance in this movie. I also enjoyed his great sense of humor throughout the movie.

I truly think that One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is one of the greatest movies of all time!

Summary: "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is a masterpiece.
Review: A classic film is one that spans generations, one that is rewarded in the past, held at the present, and cherished in the future, and Milos Forman's adaption of Ken Kesey's novel "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" is a trimuph of the human spirit released during a time when the world desperately needed to see it. Jack Nicholson performance of R. P. McMurphy is priceless and is his most honoured and most historic; his rebellous, loud, and opinionated ways are the ways we have since remembered him. Perfectly counteracting our hero's actions are those of the Head Nurse Miss Ratched, cinema's coldest and most famous villian(ess) since "2001: A Space Odyssey's" HAL 9000 computer, a monotone character whose passion for authority threatens the existance of every member of her ward. It introduces us to the powerful Chief Bromden and the stutteringly shy Billy Bibbit, two of cinema's strongest supporting sidekicks. The ending is absolutely incredible and each time it is played over on the screen, the brilliant mixture of music blended with image still sends shivers down my spine. Still after twenty years, it is a personal favorite of mine; a film that defines the cinema decade of the 1970's and shows us the power of authority and the true strengths of independence.

Summary: an excellent film
Review: This extraordinary film truly deserves its mark as one of the greatest films of all time. Jack Nicholson and Louis Fletcher more than deserve their academy awards for this. Over all the acting was exceptional and the ending was the best ending of a movie I have ever seen.

Summary: ABSOLUTE CLASSIC
Review: This story is totaly controversial. I had to read and watch the book back in high school and I still love it to this day. It's one of Nicholsons best

Summary: Nicholson, without a doubt, at his best !!
Review: I must confess that, although I never read the book, this movie is my all-time favorite, and to me, Nicholson's greatest performance. Now I know there will be many out there that will say, "What about Terms of Endearment, Chinatown, The Shining or even The Postman Always Rings Twice". Well, they were all great performances, but for some reason, no other character portrayed by Nicholson, like McMurphy in Cuckoo's Nest, has maintained such an everlasting image.

Maybe it's Jack's youth that invokes such hunger to portray such a misfit character so well. Or maybe the scene where he reanacts a world series game when not allowed to view the real thing on t.v. Maybe the pick-up basketball game where he uses the "Chief" as his statue Wilt Chamberlain, (which Robin Williams copies in the movie Jack). How about when Martini (played by Devito) irratates the hell out of another patient by constantly placing hotels on Boardwalk (monopoly), without earning them. Or the patients proudly displaying their "catch" on the deck of a illegally chartered boat returning into the harbor as authorities await their arrival.

Although the ending may seem brutal, or even downright depressing to some, one must acknowledge the life that Nicholson so briefly injected into these patients. An injection few of them will ever again experience in their lifetime. Have no doubt, Nicholson's end may be anticipated or even inevitable(he knew himself), but the ride is one you will not forget.

Summary: I FOUND IT INTERESTING BUT NOT MUCH ACTION
Review: THE BOOK SOMETIMES BECOMES BORING BECAUSE THERE IS LITTLE ACTION. THE CHARACTERS ARE INTERESTING ESPECIALLY THE CONFLICT BETWEEN THE BIG NURSE AND MCMURPHY. HOWEVER BY THE END OF THE BOOK YOU DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT THE CHARACTERS, AND THE ENDING IS PREDICTABLE. ALSO, A QUESTION AS TO WHETHER IT IS MCMURPHY WHO HAS HAD THE LABOTOMY!? END

Summary: BEST JACK NICHOLSON PERFORMANCE..ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER
Review: This movie is one of the top films that emerged in the 70's decade; you can rank "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" in the same level of "The Godfather", "Taxi Driver", "Chinatown", "Jaws", and any other film from that great movie era.....The performance that Jack Nicholson delivers is absolutely brilliant; there's no way that you can hate Randle Patrick McMurphy, because Nicholson created a charismatic and free spirited character; Louise Fletcher (as nurse Mildred Ratched), brings another incredible performance that results in one of best movie nemesis of all time......The support cast is terrific as well, featuring enjoyable characters played by such solid actors as Danny DeVito, Cristopher Lloyd, Brad Dourif and Will Sampson. "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" should be in every movie fan collection.
