Review: Meet Joe Black had gotten poor reviews, primarily because it was 3 hrs long. I love both Pitt and Hopkins, so decided to see it anyway. Then I saw it 14 more times. Does anyone out there really think watching Brad and Tony on a movie screen for 3 hrs is a problem? It felt like 1 hr., trust me. I highly recommend this movie. Brad alternates between charming,innocent,commanding, sexy (well, truthfully, he's always sexy),sensitive,funny, sad, and on and on. It's a movie about love, betrayal, justice, and loss. And it is powerful, funny, and poignant. See it and enjoy!

Summary: One of the movies I liked most ... it's so touching !!!
Review: I loved this romantic film and its soundtrack. I saw it at the theatre on January and I'd liked to see it again. I laughed, smiled, almost cry... It is by far, more touching than Titanic and has so many valuable messages to remember ... the importance of enjoying our lives, that love for your family or for your partner must be unselfish in spite of the odds and risks, and maybe a subtle encouragement that let us believe that soulmates do exist ? Was this movie that long ? Well, I did not realize !!! I read the newspapers comments and they didn't do justice at all, don't know why... I think Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, Claire Forlani, Marcia Gay Harden (Allison, the elder sister), Jeffrey Tambor (Quince, Allison's husband)and the Jamaican woman did a brilliant job, the soundtrack is really beautiful and Brad, besides his excellent acting performance, looks so cute! Give this movie a chance, please, it's worth watching...

Summary: Three hours... Don't they go by in a blink!
Review: I am a movie fan but there are no actor or actress that just by themselves make me go to see a movie more than once! I can't remember enjoying a movie as much as I have enjoyed this one. Why is that? Great concept, great cast, great performances, great dialogues (i.e. the one between Bill and Susan about forgetting your mind and listening to your heart...), great sound track. "Meet Joe Black" is a movie about death. But what is death without life? And then again, what is life without love? As we say in Portuguese "Bem Hajam"!

Summary: An excellant movie that really hits the heart.
Review: This movie is diffenlty on my top ten list. Anthony Hopkins did an excellent job. He was able to really bring us into the movie. Also Brad Pitt was amazing, he is so talented. I loved him as the character Death, he did a wonderful job of playing all of Deaths emotions. The other actors also did a very pleasing job, I especially liked the sisters and Quince. I would recommend this movie to anyone. It is definalty worth the three hours. And on a side note, it was so much better then Titanic.

Review: If you are a entirely realistic person that hates a long romantic comidies this is not for you. For people that love Brad Pitt this is a motion picture that I highly recomend. In this picture Anthony Hopkins is a rich buisness man, and a father to two beautiful young daughters, one of coarse becomes Pitt's girl. Anthony Hopkins is suffering from heart ake and is about to be taken by Death, and in this movie Death is spirit in the body of a man (Brad Pitt). Pitt makes a deal with Hopkins that will allow Hopkins to live longer. It is a very interesting and theatrical movie, that I give two thumbs up! So get out there and watch it! -GDGB

Review: This movie was so very touching about the importance of listening to your heart when chosing your life's mate ... Anthony Hopkins was tremendous, Brad Pitt did a great job too. Wonderful love story.. yes it was long, but I saw it twice at the theatre .. once each with both daughters!

Review: What a truely magical movie. I went in with high expectations and it blew all those away. I walked out wanting to see it again. Yes it is three hours long, but that gives the story time to develop and grow. I will forever have peanut butter as my comfort food! WAY TO GO
