Summary: The Outsiders Rocks!
Review: I absolutely love this movie! Words cant explain it! I mean we were reading the book in class, and then we saw the movie. I couldnt get enough of it. lol* Well Thomas Howell has been my favorite actor since I saw E.T. He is such an amazing actor. We all know he was young when he filmed this movie, but still today he is awesome. The movie deals w/a lot of things and issues that teens deal with. Thats 1 reason why I love it! Then cause Thomas Howell, i mean hes hott and a great actor. Along with my 2nd favorite actor Rob Lowe whos work I admire also lol* Then there is Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Maccio, Emilio Estevez, Darren Dalton, Diane Lane, Michelle Meyrink, and Leif Garrett. The movie is very emotional too! But w/ a cast of hott guys it makes the film even better! lol* K well go out and rent the movie..but I do suggest that you read the book first...they have a lot of differences. K well bye

Summary: The book and movie
Review: We just finished reading the book in my english class at school and now where watching the movie and we just watched part of it yesterday and today and will finish watching it tomorrow I've been trying to figure out who Tom Cruise is in the movie what he looks like in the movie what age in it and I haven't found any pictures of him in this movie not that I'm a fan of him or anything but anyway the only reason I put 4 stars is because we haven't finished the movie yet in English so I don't know how good it is untill the end you'll have to find out yourself when you buy it or rent it at the video stores. for reals I'm 13

Summary: The Book Is Much Better
Review: I read SE Hinton's beautifully written novel in English class as an assignment. Through the book, I felt as though I was with the characters or apart of them and I almost cried with the heartbreaking ending. Not so with the movie. I was appalled at the horrible acting and the movie missing important scenes such as when Ponyboy (played by C. Thomas Howell) gets beaten up the Socs, which, in my opinion, starts off the whole book. This movie dives right in to the movie scene, and you're left wondering "Who the heck are these people?" when they're presented to you. It took me almost 20 minutes to figure out who Ponyboy, Johnny (played by Ralph Macchio), and Dally (played by Matt Dillon) where because there is no introduction like there is the movie. The acting had no feel to it and it made me cringe to think that most of the actors are famous now-a-days who can act *much* better than this. Don't bother watching the movie, just read the book instead.

Summary: Better than Titanic
Review: Well, of course this is my favorite movie. I'm only nine so I wasn't even alive when it came out. One night my sister and I Qouted the movie all the way through even! And we qoute funny lines when feeling bored or sad (such dorks aren't we). The Outsiders is even better than Titanic. The "greasers" are not a gang at all, their freinds who have to stick together no matter what.I sincerely recommend this brilliant, touching, and humorous. If you don't believe me,a person who's seen it 13 times then I don't know who the heck you could beleive. So just for me watch the movie or atleast read the book. THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO DO!

Summary: Best Cast of Characters Yet!
Review: Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise, Matt Dillion, Emilio Estvez, these are just a few of the MANY wonderful actors in this movie. It's about a family of three sons whose parents die and leave the oldest son to make sure his brother's are kept out of the "welfare system". Their friends are a group of boys who experience everything from robbery, murder and beyond. They are truly outsiders who find trouble when they aren't even looking. The younger brother becomes a witness when Matt Dillion kills a townie (Leif Garret) when he brings his friends along to taunt the "outsider" and his friends. This is a sad story of how being rejected can change the outcome of lives for ever. It's an older movie, but you'll find the familiarity of today in this one.

Review: this movie blew me away when I watched it after reading the book in school. It's amazingly touching, sweet, and true to many kids back then. i don't think i have ever been so drawn into a film, or book, as much as I was when I saw and read it. the cast is fantastic. You won't be sorry you watched it.

Summary: Best in a long time..
Review: I absolutely love this movie. How can you go wrong with Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, and Patrick Swayze? I first read the book this year in Lit. class and was enthralled by the book. We later watched the video, too, and I just found it so awesome. I think the actors portray their characters in a fabulous manner. I mostly enjoyed Matt Dillon's portrayal of Dallas Winston. I really, really love this movie and book. They're both great and I strongly suggest both.
