Summary: Fabulous Movie!
Review: I absoloutly LOVED this movie! It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The acting is phenominal, the scenery is beautiful, and it is very easy to understand. I am already a very big fan of Shakspere so I knew the plotline before I saw the movie, but if you haven't read the play and you are interested in Hamlet, I totally think you should see this movie. There's not hardly a single time when you don't know what's happening. Definetely comes highly reccomended from me!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: This was a wonderful movie!
Review: This movie was excellent! It helped me to better understand the story of Hamlet and the tragic things he went through with his father's death and his mother's quick marriage with his uncle.I couldn't imagine having to go through all that at one time. I think anyone in this situation would act the same way.I think it was sad how Ophelia died and how she never knew how much Hamlet loved her. I really wished this movie would have ended a different way though. One thing that they didn't put in the movie that I thought they should have was the clowns conversation about Ophelia's burial. I thought that was interesting.

Summary: Hamlet was the best movie I have ever seen.
Review: I think the movie was a great interpretation of the play. It really brought the play to life. It could hve been better even though there were a few key things left out such as: The conversation between the clown and the other clown about how Ophelia drown, if it was suicide or an accident.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I think that this movie is very good .
Review: But there was a few dissappointments in the movie that kinda made me mad. They were differences between the movie and the play. The play had the part were the clowns were conversating, the part were larateas jumps in the grave and last but not least the part were the messangers from england came down. But overall the movie was better.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: I liked the film best, because it was easier to understand.
Review: I think the movie was great. It helped me to understand the story better. When we read the play, I had trouble paying attention. In the movie, they left a few things out that I thought were significant. For example, they left out the conversation between the clowns (gravediggers) about Ophelia's burial. They also left out the part where Laertes and Hamlet jumped into Ophelia's grave. I think that the movie would've been better with these parts added.

Summary: An exellent drama of a family conflict!
Review: I thought the movie was overall a good movie. Mel Gibson was an exellent actor in the movie. In my opinion, Hamlet was not a mad person in the movie. The reason I feel this way is because if that was my father I would probably react in some of the same ways. It seems like Hamlet was very close to his father, so I think he reacted the way most kids would react about their fathers death. Hamlet's mother was a very immoral person in the time of this movie. When she married Hamlet's uncle, Claudis, I think this was very wrong because she didn't think of how her son or puplic would take it. I also think this is a morally wrong action in my time .

Summary: The movie was splendid; absolutely a masterpiece. I loved it
Review: The story was very good, as was the play, but I liked the movie better, becayse I can better understand it. Throuogh the help of visual aid I was able to completely understand the story line and the actors' interpretation of the characters. I absolutly loved everything about Hamlet, even though he died in the end he died for a purpose. I highly recomend it. this play book aand movie for people of about the age 15 o higher because of the difficult words youger people may not be able to understand signing off for now this is the one and only flamin damon good day and now you know the rest of the story

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good story, tragically funny.
Review: Well, I don't believe the movie was as good as the play. He didn't jump into the grave with Ophelia in the movie, yet he did in the play. The grave diggers didn't get to talk to each other like they did in the play. I like the whole story of Hamlet. It is tragic, funny, and weird all in one. I liked it alot.

Summary: "A GREAT Way To Pass Class Time"
Review: This movie is a great reinactment of the play. The actors did their parts very well. Mel Gibson is natural in his role of Hamlet. He does a great job at making out that Hamlet has really gone crazy. All in all this movie in my opinion is Four Stars.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This was a great film the acting was good and very pleasing
Review: I liked the movie and I thought it was very understandable unlike the play which was a bit harder to understand. The acting in the play was good and so was the action. But I found that some parts in the film were left out like the scene in the play were the clowns had a scene. Over all this is a great film.
