Summary: Truly Moving..
Review: I am 25 years old and I first watched this movie in the summer of 1982 and never tire of it. Wolfman Jack's part is truly moving and makes this a classic. Richard Dreyfuss' first major role is truly incredible. The rest of the cast is just as believable. This classic timepiece spurred the entire 50s retro movement in the 1970s.

Summary: Great Movie--Then, Now, and Forever
Review: I saw this movie for the first time in 1973. I was 9 years old, and I wasn't happy about seeing it. I quickly changed my mind, and I envied my mother for having lived in 1962 as a teen, and also for having lived in Central California too! I recently bought this movie, and I enjoyed just as much as I did back in 1973. A must see movie, and as my mother said, very real, very true, pretty much just the way she remembers it.

Summary: See this movie if it is the last thing you do.
Review: American Graffiti is about a group of teenagers coming of age and this is their last night on the town before they go off to college. It takes place back in 1962, and is a great movie. I don't care how old you are, or where you're from. This movie was a great film, it is easily one of the best that I've ever seen in my life and I promise you that you will not be disappointed. And for you kids out there who think it will suck because it is old, you will be in for a big surprise. Teenagers and middle-aged adults will appreciate this movie more than other age groups. It is a great movie to see with your girlfriend/boyfriend, and it has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. Rent it, watch it, then buy it.

Summary: A great, true to life look at yesteryear!!
Review: I am only 22 so I unfortunately wasn't around during the 50's (born in the wrong decade.), but if this is what it was like it must have been great.Story involves high school seniors who are going their separate ways, but not before one last night on the town. Early look at future stars, such as Howard, Dreyfuss, Ford, and the lovely Suzanne Summers. You'll have a ball with this one. First film for director George Lucas, who has since brought us a few more notable films...

Summary: AMERICAN GRAFFITI-a way of life for me,and loads of my mates
Review: What can I say, the film A/G is as American as Twinkies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and of course apple pie. Does that mean I am an American? No sir it does not. But in 1973 i was 11 years old, and when John Milners coupe came blapping down that tarmac, I knew, that was the life for me,and ya know what, some 25 years later, i still watch the film and now build and drive the rods. So many things about growing up in that film has happened to me, I wish In England, we had the wolfman,he still is an icon of mine. But that era is not lost completely, I live that lifestyle to the full, rock n roll has got my soul brother and i eat, drink and sleep nostalgia, even the television, fridge and crockery is 50,s. Just can't find a toilet paper dispenser from that era. ha!ha! But if it wasnt for George Lucas, i may not have had such a full-on hot rodding life,it is somthing that you just cannot grow out of now,and now i am married and maybe one day wil have rug rats, they too can watch American graffiti and get a kick out of it like i did and still do.

I have never heard a bad reveiw about that film and it will be a favourite for ever. Thank you george, you are up there with the greats.

Hot rodding regards from the bottom of the world. STEVE CARPENTER 179. Nelson road. south melbourne Victoria 3205 Australia

Review: american grafitti is the kind of moviethat every red blooded american shouldwatch at least once in thier life.ifmore people took examples ,values, andideas from this movie,it might not besuch a dog eat dog world that we live intoday. the 50's and early 60's were thebest era in this century, and anybody whodisagree's with that dosn't know whatthe hell there talking about.george lucas accurately captured a time whenmusic was better, women were more feminine, men were men, cars were builtbetter, and sex was safe-hot rods weredangerous.american graffiti showedpeople just how things were not longago, and how[because of it] i live mylife today.i'm 32 years old and listento doo-wop,and rockabilly music, drivea 1932 ford 5 window coupe, grease myhair in a duck tail, live in an oldhouse filled with 50's furniture, and thank god for george lucas, because without him there would be noamerican graffiti.

Summary: Wonderful, great, fantastic, though lacking some plot.
Review: I just love the film "Ameerican Graffiti." It is without a doubt a classic. The only thing I don't like about it is lacking in plot. After about an hour it loses my interest. But then about fifteen minutes until the end it picks the speed back up again. Ron Howard, Richard Dreyfus, Paul Le Mat, Candy Clark, Harrison Ford, and Charles Martin Smith are all terrific in their young age. The movie makes me smile, not laugh but smile. It's a feel good movie that makes you go back in time. Its nostalgic. Withought a doubt if you haven't seen this one, you should really see it. I like it a lot.

Summary: One of the enduring classics.
Review: I was in grade-school when this movie came out, and it's the first movie I remember everybody talking about. In my sixth-grade class, we would go over and over our favorite parts; all of us had it memorized. The movie was about our parent's generation, and we saw our moms and dads as teenagers, and our parents told us they saw themselves in this timeless movie. The music was fantastic, too. We wore out two copies of this record in the space of a year. When this kind of movie was done for my generation, "Dazed and Confused," even though it was a great movie, I was reminded by association just how good "American Graffiti" was. Buy this movie because it's one you'll want to revisit year after year.

Summary: One of the most enjoyable films of all time.
Review: American Graffiti is a masterpiece of innocence of a time past. The cast of characters and the wonderful script along with superb acting by its cast has helped make this film a classic for future generations. The overall texture of the film will leave an impression in you for years to come. You cannot just watch it just once. You will find yourself watching it over and over for a long time. END
