Rating: Summary: nice Review: this was the funniest movie I ever saw so BUY it and see it for you sel
Rating: Summary: Finally a movie with a plot!!!! Review: Tom Hanks is an all time favorite for me, and Meg Ryan is never less than entertaining. My brother and I were out of options at the theater, so we ended up with "Mail" as our last option. Reluctant, fearing 2 hours of pure "chick flickage", we sat and watched and found ourselves really enjoying it. We're also not much for computers and internet, etc, blah-blah, but this one had a whole new insight, without the "hacker" presence, being more down-to-earth. More than anything, the movie had a great plot. At first a little slow, but picks up and never stops. Both characters are all new. It's not the same old Hanks or Ryan. You have to see it to believe it.
Rating: Summary: Hopeless Romantic finds Hope Review: I loved this movie. I want to be Meg Ryan! Could anyone be classier than her sweet characters are? Although Sleepless in Seattle is still my favorite romantic comedy, as a hopless romantic, I found this movie incredibly charming and deeply satisfying. I also loved the allusions to Pride and Prejudice. Although the symbolism probably passed by a disappointing amount of people, it deepened the meaning of the movie for me. Like Elizabeth and Kathleen, in relationships we need to give people a chance. Like Darcy and Joe, we need to not be jerks just because we can. I cannot tell you how much I wish more movies like this were being produced instead of the filth that America is currently wasting their movie money on. Meg and Tom, as well as the Ephron sisters, if you make another movie I will be on the front row opening night. Well, actually I will probably be in the middle because I get headaches when I sit too close, but I will be there early!
Rating: Summary: So romantic! Review: I've never seen a movie like 'You've got mail' It's so sweet and romatic. it's worth seeing.
Rating: Summary: NOT A "GUY" MOVIE. Review: I loved the movie, it was great, but I wouln't tell a guy he *has* to see it. It was a sweet and kind movie, romantic and loving, intresting and funny! a little slow at first, but then it picks up. But don't listen to me, watch the movie, and write your OWN reveiw. Bye.
Rating: Summary: you've got mail Review: lo
Rating: Summary: could have been better Review: I thought this movie wasn't that great. It seemed like everything was kinda staged. Plus, the title sounds like something out of AOL. Would you really stoop that low to find someone?
Rating: Summary: it is excellent Review: it is gooooooo
Rating: Summary: GREAT, WONDERFUL, SWEET, ROMANTIC MOVIE!!! Review: I have to say that next to Sleepless in Seattle this movie is a ten star if I was allowed to vote that high. This movie had everything, humor, drama, and a story line that justs tugs at your heartstrings. I have to say the funniest part was seeing the expressions on Tom hanks' face whenever Kathleen made a certain comment. I also loved the ending when Kathleen Kelly say's to Joe "I wanted it to be you...I wanted it to be you so much" I have to go get a kleenex now...I LOVED IT!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A Must See Movie (and a must Have movie) Review: I loved this movie! I saw it in the theature and laughed, and had a great time. It is great to see Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks on the big screen as a couple again. I loved them in "Joe Verses the Volcano", and "Sleepless in Seatle". This has to my favorite yet. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan work up a good cemistry on the screen that is good for all ages. It is a romantic comedy that can be seen by kids that will not have them borad out of thier mind. I would deffenitly recomnd this movie. You will never get tierd of it!
