Summary: AN AMERICAN CLASSIC THAT LIVES TO BE ON DVD
Review: This is one of Judy Garlands finest films. Everything about the film works so well. Beautiful costumes, great songs. and a great cast. But mostly the magic of Garland brings the whole film to perfection. The beautiful and authentic sets almost draw you into the screen and make you feel you are in the early 1900s. And isn't that what movie making is really all about?
Its absolutely the perfect movie musical!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Truly one of the best musicals ever.
Review: This 1944 has it all: perfect integration on the songs, great sets, wonderful acting and of course the incomparable singing on Judy Garland. A must see.

Summary: A True American Classic
Review: Meet Me in St. Louis is certainly one of the best movies ever made from it's wonderful songs that you can easily memorize the words to, until the great storyline of romance between Rose and Warren, and Esther and John it is the perfect romance musical that people the world over can relate to especially if they like either A: Musicals B: Judy Garland C: Grew up in the 1940's or D: Have good taste in movies. You can watch it again and again and never get tired of it that is just the way that it works with classic movies. I would recommend this to everyone young and old you will enjoy everything about it even at the youngest of ages. I hope that this review was helpful to you!

Summary: Three Cheers for Meet Me In Saint Louis!
Review: Meet Me in St. Louis is one of the best films I have ever seen. There are many memorable songs that just make you want to sing along! The plot is relatively funny and Judy Garland hits home. Margaret O'Brien, who plays 'Tootie' is so adorable. She is exceptional in the part and knows how to adjust to serious scenes very well. Over all, this is a swell movie and I would recommend it to any musical fan.

Summary: Hope to see it on DVD.
Review: I love this movie...I grew up watching it with my mom, especially around Christmas. The costumes are gorgeous...the girl's Christmas ball gowns and the white outfits at the end when they go to the fair. I cry every time at the part when Judy sings "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" (or whatever the title of the song actually is?). Speaking of crying...nobody boohoos like little Margaret O'Brien...she is adorable in the movie. I really hope they decide to put it out on DVD...although I know that everytime I watch it I cannot get "The Trolley Song" out of my head for a week...but I love it anyway!!

Summary: One of the best musicals to have ever been made
Review: This is probably my all time favorite movie and musical. The entire cast is spectacular together. This movie will bring out every emotion you can have, it will make you smile, laugh, and even cry. It is about a family living in St. Louis, whose life is turned upside down by the idea of having to move to New York City. It portrays each characters life, the diferences between them, and everything that they go through. The musical numbers are encredible and very memerable!! They flow with the movie. It does not seem as if they are just randomly put in to make the movie a musical. Judy Garland's voice and dance numbers will give you chills, especially when she sings "Have a Merry Little Christmas." If you like musicals, I believe that you will truely Love this one. I would recommend this movie to everyone.

Summary: JUDY AT HER MAGICAL BEST
Review: Well - this is Judy at the top of her beauty and moviefame. Tatseful color and design by her husband-2-be Vincente Minnelli... he really is an echo of William Wyler and Billy Wilder with MUSIC!:-)

The film is family-nostalgia and intimate family values - a popular trend when the World is dark(wars, catastrophies etc.

When I first saw it I disliked that it didn`t gave a plot, but incidents... Over the years however I have come 2 love it - and it TOO has become nostalgia for me...

Summary: GREAAAT Classic!
Review: I totally AGREE with Elyse! i ALSO am 16 (but live in Australia) and Judy is one of my favourite actors!! (probably my 2nd favourite after Barbra Streisand!)
Judy does a SPECTACULAR performance (as she always does) and I too would LOVE to have this title on DVD!! I would LOVE to see some special fetures dug up from the MGM volts!
Margret O'Brian's emmy-winning performance is also SPECTACULAR! I especially like her "Mr Neely" scene (HER opening scene) she is just adorable! (p.s. to Judy fans who have seen "Babes On Broadway" with Mickey Rooney, Margret O'Brien has a cameo in it! She stands on a table and says something along the lines of "Please don't send my brother to the chair, please please!" - as an audition in the movie.. very cute!)
Anyway, i was very glad to read her review (Alyse?!) because i thought i was the ONLY "NORMAL" teenager in the world who can appreciate trrue talent! Rock on, if you're ever down under, id love to meet you.
