Review: The is a great epic from the shooting of Vito to Micheal taking the the title of Don. The best part of the movie had to have been the shooting of Sollozo in the restaraunt. This is a great movie. Also I would like to add that the death of Mario Puzo is a tragedy and a loss to Hollywood.

Review: Movies just don't get any better than this. The Godfather is quite likely the best American movie of the past 50 years, and merits serious consideration as the best EVER. One truly must experience it for oneself. Part II is even grander in scope and more ambitious than the first film, although perhaps not quite as riveting to watch. But I would hardly make that a genuine criticism. As for Part III, well...even Ted Williams struck out once in a while.

Review: The "Godfather Trilogy" are quite simply some of, if not the greatest films ever made. True the third one does not have the strength of the two originals, but it had such a high standard to live up to, viewed on its own even Part III is a masterpiece. But do not let this put you off watching the whole trilogy back-to-back, as this is the only true way to fully appreciate it. These films should serve as a lesson to todays film makers, and as a benchmark not only for mafia films but for all films, anywhere and at any time.
