Summary: I love this movie!
Review: This Gen-X'er and serious movie buff would list "Fargo" as his favorite movie of all time (maybe in a three-way tie with "Pulp-Fiction" and "The Princess Bride"). "Fargo" is just DRIPPING with coolness. Just in the first 10 minutes I count nearly a dozen funny, interesting, original moments. This is the kind of movie that holds up under repeat viewings because of the detail, the incredible witty and revealing dialogue, the little moments that you don't fully appreicate the first time around. There isn't a wasted scene in the movie and it never drags. It will shock you, it will make you laugh out loud. There's tension around every bend, and there's even a good deal of HEART. And you really care for the characters (the good ones anyway, the evil ones are just FASCINATING to watch).

The movie IS a little unsual, but there's so much out of everyday life in this movie that ANYONE can find lots to identify with. You'll be laughing and cringing in no time flat!

If you're looking for something new, and something great, then pick-up "Fargo". I'm sure it will hold a high place in your video collection.

Summary: Absolutely magnificent
Review: Coen brothers have their razorsharp fingers on the jugular of the midwest -- ya, you betcha hey.

A must see, and one of the Coen brothers best. To call this anything but a comedy misses the point. It IS dark, it IS violent, is IS thrilling, but overall it is just plain hi-larious, if you can deal with the biting satirical humor about the midwest.

See it on the local art-house big screen or rent it today!

Summary: A bizzare film from the Coen brothers
Review: Fargo is the most bizzare film I have ever seen. This is one of the few films I have seen that works wonderfully as a comedy and a film noir. The characters are colorful, and all funny in one way or another. If you love the offbeat you should buy this film in a heart beat.

Summary: A "top 10" movie
Review: "Fargo has to be rated as one of the 10 best movies of all time. From unbelievably great acting to haunting cinemaphotography and sound track there is not one moment of mediocrity. The scene where Marge meets a former classmate at the Radisson (and has abslutely nothing to do with the movie's plot)is pure genius. "The English Patient" was not in the same class.

Summary: Es un film excelente
Review: Los Hnos. Cohen nuevamente nos sorprenden con un film vibrante, que genera suspenso por doquier. Es impresionante como mantienen en vilo a todos los espectadores.

Summary: Absolutely top-notch, riveting, black comedy
Review: Mesmerizing and funny, this movie delivers in the darkest manner ... yes, it is humourous at times, but it also engages the spirit in such a way that you kind of feel weird when watching. There's something about that shower curtain scene...

Summary: You don't foget this one.
Review: This has to be the strangest movie I have ever seen. I went to see it with my 17 year old son. We were both shell-shocked when it was over but we have remembered more about that movie after one viewing than probably any other movie we have watched. To say it is Good leaves you open to much speculation, but it certainly is interesting and I will watch it again.
