Review: I am not a surfer, and just happen to come across a movie at a friends house. Most movies I have seen only have a bunch of surf footage. This movie had a good plot, and showed me things about surf culture that I never knew before. The surfing footage was never boring (some movies get redundant). I definitely have a new respect for the surfing and Hawaiian culture. Cant wait to try to surf now!

Review: I thought NiHi was a wonderful complilation of the Great surfer Titus! The informative and imaginitive stlye documentary is a must see for old time and begining surfers and Ocean enthusists in general. I commend the production, Well Done!

Review: I was pleasantly suprised that this surf movie was so packed with real life drama. Titus Kinnemaka is a world class big wave rider but who knew what the had to go through to get there. This isn't just another piece of surf pornography its the true story of a hawaiian native trying to hold onto his culture and native spirit and finding positive ways to do it in the face of international invasion.

Review: This was a really interesting, grass roots style surf bio/documentary with a true Hawaiian as the host, showed an intimate look into Hawaiian surf culture. Totally different perspective. Really cool footage of Kauai that I've never seen before. Small, medium to big waves with true stories to go along with them.. And they didn't over do it like some surf movies do with all the endless footage and no story. There was a lot of thought behind it. I think every surfer (or otherwise for that matter) who travels to exotic locations should see this.
