Rating: Summary: Blaine or Vernon???? Review: I watch this Movie yesterday, I can't stop thinking about and laughing out loud. This movie to me, could be the first Waiting for Guffman. This movie is full of great character that aren't actors but real people. The hour long movie leave you wanting more. The story these people tell are so great and funny. On man thinks a turtle is a gopher and he tell us this. Another tells us how to go about Killing a Wild Turkey. One states "reality that what this is" This is a must see for any that like Doc. or movie or Guffman or Great Character and must of all of great laugh. I not only give it 5 star but 10
Rating: Summary: It grows, it grows Review: I've seen this film 35+ times: I know it by heart, and each time I see and hear it (for it's a aural pleasure as much as it's a visual one), I'm struck by Errol Morris' genius for creating three-dimensional poetry. Anyone interested in people, in the human condition, in language, in beauty, in the absurd needs to see this film. Writers, musicians, film directors and editors -- this is a MUST-SEE for ya'll. If artists are people who take the ordinary and transform it into the extradordinary, then Errol Morris is an artist in the first degree, and Vernon, Florida is the proof. The people he finds are demi-gods, just waiting for the opportunity to tell their stories. It is my sincere hope that this masterpiece become available again on VHS and DVD. Do it, Industry.
Rating: Summary: This is a funny before but it is suppose to be serious! Review: If anyone has any information on where I can get/purchase this movie, please email me - I would really appreciate it.
Rating: Summary: I WANT TO BUY THIS MOVIE! Review: It appears that this was suppose to be a serious documentary but the people are so bazaar. I believe it is the funnies video I have ever seen. Blockbuster no longer carries it.
Rating: Summary: Vernon, Florida - Real, Rednecks . . . or Aliens? Review: Maybe a warm blend of all. While filmed in a small unsophisticated southern town, Vernon, Florida is for those with a more insightful and sophisticated sense of humor. Some won't get it . . . for those who do, this is an enjoyable way to spend 72 minutes.

Rating: Summary: This is not to be missed! Review: My daughter and her boyfriend shared this little treasure with us last night. It is hysterically funny! I would love to have my own copy. I hope it is re-released by popular demand. After viewing this film, you may be surprised how you come across to others in conversation--sometimes, maybe a little bit like those folks in Vernon, FL. Oh, to see ourselves as others see us. You'll have a good laugh at your own expense. This was terrific! I rate it 5 turkey feet!
Rating: Summary: reality?? What's that?? Review: reality is suspended for the whole running time of this movie from the open scene with the bug spray truck and the kleenex and comb version of "no place like home" to the four track brain to the sand growing in the jar. One of my favorite films of all time and has almost killed many of my friends who laugh themselves to death. My wife and I repeat about reality all the time and laugh. It needs to be on every shelf where whimsy and amazement preside.
Rating: Summary: Greatest Documentary of all Time Review: This is the best Documentary I've ever seen in all my life. Its nonstop laughter the entire time. I really wish they'd rerelease Vernon Florida on Dvd, it'd be simply great!
Rating: Summary: A cult classic that will keep you rolling Review: This movie is one of the funniest I have ever seen. We have planned a trip to Vernon to meet these wackos. The people in this film live thirty years behind the times and have the mental capacity of tree moths.
