Summary: Faces of Death Box Set
Review: After reviewing the Traces of Death, personally I thought the Faces of Death was a whole lot better. The Faces of Death basicly goes through the different ways people or animals have died or been killed. I didn't find it scary, but one doesn't always realize how they could die. I believe viewing for some should be warned that this may not be suitable for some. The videos remind me of something that might be on the Discovery Channel, or parts could be on the unsolved mysteries. It wasn't bad..I would recommend it for those who are curious of how many ways one might be found dead, or die or be killed. If one is looking for a movie, this isn't it. If one is curious on autopsy, this video is far better than the video I got on autopsy

Summary: great.
Review: I think that this video is a valuable cultural resource and hasn't been given the credit it deserves. It's kind of sad that I watched it more or less unflinchingly. But I thought it was great. Cheesy, but a classic. "Often imitated, never equaled." Well, I don't know about that, but I do think it is a delightfully indulgent piece of work. I don't feel like I wasted my money on it. My favorite part was the EPA protest where the guy lights himself on fire and then there's the montage of carnage and some dorky guy strumming a guitar singing "jesus doesn't live here anymore ..." It was hilarious, subtle genious.

Summary: FOD is mentally helpful
Review: I give FOD four stars because it was an excellent documentary of its time and still remains, in my opinion, a valuable item to this day.
Why not 5 stars you ask? Well the only flaw in this film is that it isn't violent enough. No, I'm not a mentally ill person; I simply feel exposure to violence helps many people by slowly diminishing their fear and the novelty of death. For example, if Vietnam veterans viewed films like this prior to being drafted into war, they would have been less likly to develope post-traumatic stress disorder.
Unlike films such as Banned From Television, FOD is accompanied by an intelligent narrator who never fails to explain that murder is wrong.
I reccomend this film because it is educational as well as entertaining.

Summary: The most vile and gruesome series ever amassed!
Review: This is total garbage, why do people watch this, now the first I saw from this was when a man got his hand and feet cut off which was very disturbing, it seems like they tied the mans arm and leg tightly to make it go to sleep and then cut them off with just a little knife, but the man did not scream. After watching that and a few other things I could not watch it anymore it is very nasty, how can anyone watch this and im affraid to ask if anyone likes this, staged footage I have no problem with because it's not real but if you want to make a compilation of snuff and footage at accident sites now theres a problem. If you were curious as I "was" to witness death download one clip off say Kazaa but don't buy this garbage,..., My word...avoid this!

Summary: Ugh...that would be a big NO.
Review: Yes, most of this garbage is fake. But what kind of sick mentally ill person would make this...? ...I love horror movies but this is just beyond gross and thrills and chills! This is pathedic! What kind of sick, mentally ill people would do this kind of stuff in the real world? I'm shocked that people could even think about doing these kinds of things that they portray in the movie...I guess I'm right when I say the world is full of crazy, insane people who've completely lost their minds! This is not to be viewed by children, preteens, or young teenagers. "Faces Of Death" is gross, disturbing, and disgusting. I would not recommend it to anyone...this director has definitely gone MAD! I would not even recomend it to the mentally ill. I don't care how good they make this DVD, it is horrible. They should not allow films like these to be made...it's no wonder people blame movies on all of today's problems like teen shootings and stuff. I'll bet I know one thing that all teen shooters have in common: they all probably watched "Faces Of Death". Sickening!

Review: Faces of death is the sickest film i've ever seen but it's the best sickest film i have ever seen monkey brains excitons susides murders dead bodies anamal killings and cults they are all here if you got a stong gut or got a sick and twisted mind you've come to the right place a must buy if you can handle it!!!!!!

Summary: Utter Crap!
Review: Comon people! This is so fake. All we see is some botched up reinacted footage of "death". Watch it a couple of times. You'll see. How could there be so much camera angles at one killing. Yeah I'm sure a whole film crew just happened to be there during a crocodile mauling. All we see in that scene is a man fighting with a rubber crocodile. Maybe the opening scene will explain it all. It's a open-heart surgery. Some messing around with medical utencils. Suddenly, oh my god! His heart stopps! Not! They zoom in in slow motion on the beating heart and freeze the frame. Then theres a scene with a cult. Completely fake. A man takes a knife and cuts a mans chest open and rips out the heart instantly. What happened to the ribs? Oh well. At least I only spent 1.60 renting it, but now after watching it, i even think thats a waste of money

THIS MOVIE IS SOMETHING ELSE..ITS A GORY..SICKENING..GROSS COLLECTION OF DEATH..AND ITS GREAT!...DEFINETLY NOT FOR THE SQEAMISH...FACES OF DEATH 1 IS THE BEST BY FAR..THE OTHER 3 JUST GET CHEESIER AND CHEESIER..SO CHEESY ITS ALMOST FUNNY..BUT FACES 1 IS BY FAAAARRRRR THE BEST OF THE BUNCH...GET IT..SEE IT (not alone!) AND LOVE IT..A MUST HAVE FOR HORROR NUTS LIKE MYSELF!
