Rating: Summary: AROUND THE WORLD Review: Have you ever looked up into the heavens and wondered what might be looking back? Most of us have. UFO's and ALIENS made me wonder what else was out there. The movie is comfortably narated, and easy to understand, with just the right touch of suspence. With the physical layout of the Universe, the vast expanse, could we be the only life out there? Scientists disagree whether it is possible. Could we really be that fortunate? Or are we just a simple example of what could be? What other life forms could be out there? As I watched, I was drawn to the same old questions: What do other forms of life look like? What is the basis of their form of life? Are they Carbon Based? Or could they be completely different? These questions have plagued mankind for eons. With all the evidence, is it possible we are but a small, insignificant life form? You decide.
Rating: Summary: Another SETI-ified "Is There Life Out There?" armchair DVD Review: I bought this one based on the five star reviews. I came away from it quite dissatisfied with its rather conservative overtones and mainstream subject matter. If you've been doing your UFO homework and know the phenomenon's long-standing connection to National Security and how the "official" story differs greatly with what is really going on behind the scenes, this one will bore the pants off you, having you wondering when something truly relevant will be discussed. Definitely for the casual observer who is perhaps curious, but is still super-glued to the fence and still sees SETI & NASA through colored lenses. I recommend 'Out Of The Blue'. It's the closest you'll get to the understanding of the fact that mainstream academia has been deliberately kept out of the loop of actual UFO research.
Rating: Summary: Another bland ufo DVD Review: I too bought this DVD based on the five star reviews (silly people). I too came away quite dissatisfied with it's super conservative overtones and dull mainstream subject matter overall. Although I'll admit this DVD has a better than average production quality for a "UFO" DVD, I found that the actual information contained within is severly lacking in regards to exploring the true state of the UFO phenomenon and how our Government is dealing with it. Instead of getting the current facts, this production keeps asking the same old remedial questions over and over: Are we alone? How do we make contact? and on and on... and addressing the same old lame @$$ excuses as to why they think UFOs couldn't exist or how this is some form of mass hallucination. All the same old intelligence insulting cliches the uninformed have been hearing for years, it's nothing new. I also agree with another reviewer that if you're really looking for UFO information, purchase the DVD titled "Out of the Blue". It is by far a more informed documentary on the subject in regards to what we now know about our government and their interests in UFOs and the production quality is excellent too.
Rating: Summary: UFOs & ALIENS Review: This DVD is Excellent!!! This top quality DVD runs for like 3 and a half hours with loads of extra's and is even narrarated by Star Trek's Jeri Ryan (aka Seven of Nine). Very cool... It has changed the way I look at this world. A must see for anyone interested in extra terrestrial life. UFOs are real... and our Govornment knows we are not alone!

SETI researchers discuss there theories and probabilities about making contact with another planet. Running time 50.23 2. Running time 13.17 Transfer is excellent, audio Dolby 2.0. Best UFO related dvd I've come across so far and value for money with over 3.5 hours viewing. Transfer 4/5, audio 5/5, extras 4/5.
Rating: Summary: PACKED! Review: UFO's and Aliens is far better than the average DVD documentaries that seem to be rushed into production. The DVD contains three programs from TLC (The Learning Channel) with an additional set of three documentaries as a bonus! Essentially, you get six fifty minute programs on one DVD. It's a real bargain, for a DVD release. And the interviews, narrations, and graphics are all top notch. You won't be disappointed.
