Summary: Great for those construction-minded toddlers
Review: My 2-year old son loves this video. We keep checking it out from the library and decided to buy it instead. He loves the theme song "I Dig Dirt" and sings it all of the time. He wants this video from Santa this Christmas. A super video for toddlers! Highly recommended.

Summary: Educational
Review: My 5 1/2 year old daughter is a huge horse lover and enjoyed this video a lot. It follows a young woman as she cares for her horse and enters various competitions. It's very educational and informative--More of a documentary style. It's a great way to let your child know that horses are fun, but they involve a significant amount of dedicated work too!

Summary: Mesmerize your toddler!
Review: My kids received "I Dig Dirt" as a gift and they watch it over and over. I have to admit that as an adult I found the big machines interesting as well. If your toddler loves to point out construction trucks, read about them, or simply play with such toys, they will LOVE this video. When "I Dig Dirt" is on my kids are mesmerized!

Summary: Dangerous activities for children presented as fun
Review: The machines are , indeed, mesmerizing, but please be sure an adult watches this video with your children. Children are repeatedly shown doing such unsafe activities as climbing unsupervised on construction machinery, playing in dirt walled excavations, and playing only a few feet from construction machinery that is operating. It sure looks like fun and it sure is dangerous! I would have rated the video much higher if not for this very serious fault. Every year children are killed while playing like this. I would hope the makers would re-edit later releases and stress safe play around machinery.

Summary: Big Trucks are a Big Favorite with Toddlers
Review: The well-informed gift from my sister with 3 toddlers has become my 2-year-old's absolute favorite, beating out Teletubbies and Sesame Street. He can barely say "dirt" but that is all he wants to watch. Trucks, trains, shovels, explosives - it is rather interesting for adults, too (well, the first time at least!).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Stuff!
Review: This is a fantastic video for kids, and it's impossible not to find yourself singing along. Also a great chance for little girls to see that driving the big trucks isn't just for the boys!

Summary: Great horse video !
Review: This is the best horse video I've ever seen ! My horse-crazy 4 year old loves it so much she wants to watch it every day. I enjoy watching it as well. It is the story of a three-day event horse. It covers basic horse care, training, planning for events, and actual participation in two events. A winner.
