Summary: Observe with an empty mind
Review: The most interesting thing I noticed while studying viewer's reviews of this film was how promptly most who rejected this film did so overarchingly... Seems predetermined and biased. The most compelling aspect for me was the film-makers compulsion for totality of coverage... Something entirely lacking from media coverage during the actual siege. Reminiscent of "The Panama Deception" and worthy of your money and complete concentration. Take a nap before viewing, because this will exhaust you!

Summary: An American Tragedy
Review: SHAME ON THE PRESS! Finally someone does the job they didn't do. I watched the seige and the attack and felt then that the Government had committed a crime against us, the people, and now there is some evidence. The film is well edited, interspersing hearings, scholars, footage of the seige and other witnesses in a way that creates the story "then & now". Well selected interviews explain, in scholarly voice, who the Davidians were and how they were not the demons the press sold us. We cannot allow a government to murder it's citizens and we look away. Yesterday Black Panthers, Today Davidians, Tomorrow you or me ! Must see. A real wake up call! Well deserved awards for this documentary.

Summary: Yes, you should see this movie
Review: I wonder what it would take to show this, complete and unedited, on TV. Ain't gonna happen on Bill's watch.

A very disturbing movie. It's probably not a good idea for pre-teens to watch.

Summary: I felt like a child finding out there's no Santa Claus
Review: This movie shook me to the core. Never before have I had my assumptions and prejudices thrown back in my face with such force. While there may have been some bias in the way the material is presented, there didn't seem to be. I felt like I was being given the facts and then allowed to process them as I saw fit. The end result in my case is a complete overhaul of my long-held beliefs about "freedom" in America.

Summary: God save America
Review: I would not have belonged to the Branch Dividians, their beliefs were and are much different than mine. But they had the freedom laid out by our Consitution to believe what they did and the right to protect their home. For those hungry to take our rights away from us the "Church" must be silenced! Those in Waco were on the fringe and that is where power mad animals will start. My suggestion to other Americans is to get invloved in your church, purchase as many legal firearms possible and join upstanding organizations that support your right to keep and bear arms. Without trying to sound alarmist, Waco is a small start in an evil that lies in wait to destroy freedom and liberty.

Summary: it is very scary

Summary: An aside, on last year's election
Review: There are enough rave comments about this raveworthy film that I don't need to add my own adulation, I just want to make a side comment. I'm quite surprised that Al D'Amato didn't show excerpts from then-Rep. Charles Schumer's performance at the Waco hearings during his Senate race in 1998. Schumer is such an arrogant putzhead (to use D'Amato's own turn of expression) and it comes through so clearly here that, had D'Amato aired some of this footage, he might still be a Senator.

Summary: Eye-opener
Review: This is one not to be missed. I saw the shortened version on premium cable, and the 45 min cut from this original, are most revealing. You learn about Koresh, from a Biblican scholar who tells what he believed, why, and the source. A psychiatrist, who is professor of law and psychiatry, from Yale, also gives insight to Koresh's mental condition (determined to be sound). There is so much more to be learned about what happened at Waco, and this is a primer to help us learn, and understand who is to blame; it becomes obvious.

Summary: Biggest cover up since 11-22-63
Review: There isn't much to add with all these outstanding reviews getting the meat and potatoes on the table. The only way you get these massive, instituitional whitewashes, is when the Justice Dept. like under LBJ-Clinton allows other Govt. Agencies( Hoover-Freeh to do as they please. Then the perpetual lies are spun with the Poison Penman writing the so-called" Hstory".

Summary: Extremely Important And Powerful.
Review: "Waco: The Rules Of Engagement" is an important, powerful documentary that all Americans should see. I would compare it to Oliver Stone's masterpiece, "JFK." This is a movie that dissects corruption within our structure of law, it also makes a big impact on our rights and our freedom to practice those rights. "Waco: The Rules Of Engagement" is also full of shocking evidence that makes you look at the situation in a whole new different light. This is an extremely haunting, effective, disturbing, and convincing piece of film. I haven't seen a better documentary all year. "Waco: The Rules Of Engagement" should be seen by all Americans interested in their rights.
