Rating: Summary: Call your friends to watch this DVD Review: Absolutely amazing! I saw Street Magic on TV a few months back and rushed to my computer to find out more about David Blaine. I preordered this DVD and have waited patiently for its arrival. Wow! It is even better than I could have imagined. I can't wait to tell all my friends and family about David's ability and skills. Just buy this DVD. You will not be disappointed. I think I'll buy a second copy to give to my sister for her birthday.
Rating: Summary: OH look mummy there a man flying Review: Being a new and upcoming magican I am really disappointed with the DVD, anyone can do magic with the use of cameras, I wonder if David Blaine will ever do a large scale stage act. Yes I like his card tricks and there are some original tricks there. But when it came to the guy leveltating, I laughed myself silly it is so obvious how it is done. .........I am sorry Charles to share this with you, but it was terrible. That one act made me question the restof his work and how much trick camera work he used there. I am sorry but I will not be buying/watching anything to do with Blaine from now on, I suggest people save there money and buy another magic DVD
Rating: Summary: Cool... but now we know all of the secrets Review: Cool DVD, very smart tricks... except that Fox gave away all of the secrets. If you didn't see the Fox show then watch this DVD. If you did see the Fox show, skip the DVD. Bad Fox. No supper for you tonight.
Rating: Summary: GREAT ENTERTAINMENT!!! Review: David Blaine - "Fearless" is a must have for anyone who has the slightest interest in Magic. His magic is up close and this DVD clearly shows himself as one of the worlds greatest magicians. There is plenty of footage and nonstop action. Each trick will leave you shaking your head in amazement. His tricks will never get old and this DVD will make an outstanding addition to anybody's DVD collection to watch over and over again. For the true David Blaine fans I recommend purchasing his book "Mysterious Stranger" along with this video. In the book he reveals how hid did a couple, not all, of the tricks on this DVD. It also reveals how he got into magic and how he begame the man he is today.
Rating: Summary: Great DVD if you believe Review: David Blaine demostrates great execution of magic tricks and mixes very well peoples reaction on the street to create a "mystic" atmosphere. As with all magic tricks, it's all illusion (check the web and you'll find plenty of sites with spoilers of his tricks), but never the less, his execution is flawless. Doing a DVD is risky for him, since you can follow very closely each trick using a frame by frame. So if you love magic, buy it and don't bother to try to look for an explanation.

Rating: Summary: Mr. Blaine is very good, but not perfect... Review: David Blaine has tremendous charisma, and watching him freak out people is the best part of this video. The street theater aspect is also admirable, and way better than watching the usual cliched magician stage act. My only problem is he does get sloppy... If you watch the "torn card" trick, its pretty easy to spot the mis-direction, he takes the torn card in his left hand, but then places the supposedly torn pieces back in the volunteer's hand with his right hand. His levitation trick is very good, but the fact that he makes everyone watch it from the same angle (and its only filmed from that angle) is a huge tip-off. Still, quite enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: It's All About Deception Review: David Blaine is a master. This collection of "greatest hits" from his previous three TV specials is astonishing. Yes, it's all an illusion. Yes, super slo-mo allows you to pick many of the card tricks apart. Yes, you can see how he does some of it. But that sure doesn't mean you or I or anyone else could do it. This is not slick Vegas-style magic. This is one-to-one personal interaction between Blaine and his audience. The send up, with his 'mysterious aura' about him is tolerable. I actually enjoy it, understanding the context with which he presents it. Magic is very, very old, and this guy is as much a student of its history as he is a master of the craft. I was going to describe my three favorite scenes but then realized that would ruin the presentation. So, I will simply say what they are. Buy this disc and see what you think. Personal favorite: Asking a woman on the street to think of the name of person important to her. Second personal favorite: The little girl and her mom at a sidewalk cafe. Third personal favorite: Levitation. Seeing is believing!
Rating: Summary: Do you believe in magic? Review: David Blaine is extremely watchable and will completely blow your mind with the magic he performs. Despite doing a lot of card tricks (probably some of the best you will ever see mind you) the variety of tricks he performs will truely amaze you. I'm sure he could start religions after some of his performances - the people are so engaged. It's interesting to note that some people believe that he is spiritually gifted, or some kind of guru. Although he will leave you doubting the laws of science, he is still mortal and just an illusionist, albeit also one of the best in the world. Due to his street performances he can't use any fancy props, which makes you wonder even more how he is able to achieve such amazing effects. If you knew however, it wouldn't be hardly as entertainin. If you love magic (and let's face it, who doesn't?) you certainly won't be disappointed if you buy this DVD and I guarantee you will want to show all your friends.
Rating: Summary: Good magic Review: David Blaine is really fun to watch. He does some really creative and neat stuff. Even tho he advertises street magic as his signature stuff but I would really like to see this guy progress further by doing more than card tricks as the bulk of his magic. Hes definately a cool entertainer and has so much potential in the future.
